pre-ordered "Autobot Burn Out" via pulse while feeling optimistic that my financial situation will be in better shape by next summer
I find it funny that the diaclone deco girls are way more exciting to me as Masterpieces than the likes of Arcee/Nightbird and Blackarachnia
I'd prefer a cyberverse/idw flavor, but going og would hint at us getting a non-convention exclusive Sakuyamon deco'd transformer eventually which would please me greatly
my grocery trip was just slightly too early today to see velocitron on shelves.
Saw the pegs set up and a stack of boxes a couple isles over, but didn't feel like bothering the employee for them.(tho I probably could have used us both having purple hair as an icebreaker)
It's amazing how the last 6(jesus what is time) years of idw have gone for me
Major bullet points
- this hasbro universe isn't catching my interest, the earth military stuff has always been my least favorite aspect of this continuity
-oh based on what I'm seeing on twitter things are starting...
Are they still going to be putting out the hardcover collections?
I've been using those to catch up with idw1 after dropping off around revolution.
If not guess I'll work on gathering up what I have left to read on my own.
So unless one of those junkions turns out out to be nancy or rum-maj we're just not getting any girls in the mainline after Elita, huh?
Anyone want to take bets on which prowl that we're getting? lol
Looking through the original line while procrastinating today, and it's amazing how many beast wars toys I have "wanted as a kid but missed out on" nostalgia for and retrax is the only one they've done for this that has tapped into that even a little bit.
He's already been mentioned in this thread, but Flame is probably the Marvel original character I'd want to see done next.
Feel like he doesn't get talked about nearly as much as Impactor and Straxus and what not, but he's got such striking colors. He's like Hot Rod's unpleasant uncle.
uuuugh
I haven't read idw2 yet, but my girlfriend's wife keeps showing me girls from it
we really just need a whole line dedicated to comic characters(all publishers, sure)
it wasn't exactly amazing when they tried it before, but surely they'd do better now
I'm still catching up on fiction I skipped during my hiatus, but I definitely wouldn't mind Solus Prime actually being a character in something instead of just world's first murder victim (the Covenant of Primus dealt so much damage to my love of this franchise)
