  1. The Nintendo Thread of Jumping, Slashing, and Home Decorating

Yeah, I’ve had to tolerate some garbage controllers in my time, so the Switch Pro is completely fine to me. I’d even argue I like it better than the base Xbox Series controller (I ABHORE that clicky dpad!), though I think the PS5 controller is better still. Hey. Let’s talk about some games...
  2. The Nintendo Thread of Jumping, Slashing, and Home Decorating

The DC’s d-pad was perfectly serviceable, but it was on the small side (a complaint that I would apply to the entire controller, in general). Because it was small with more “pointed” plastic molding, it made the controller uncomfortable for fighting games. And of all genres, the machine...
  3. Who's trying to break the internet today?

Because the joke writes itself… Yesterday, Microsoft themselves were the ones trying to break the internet. Actually a double whammy from a borked update to CrowdStrike’s Falcon platform blue screened thousands of Windows systems (Mac and Linux were unaffected), leading to multiple airlines...
  4. G.I. Joe thread - 09/13/2024: Pulsecon - Dreadnoks, Dogs and Cereal

I think I can tolerate that solid Quarrel to get not only a great Falcon, but one with a superior headsculpt AND the proper shotgun. I'm still not entirely sure if it is a new headsculpt...or just a vastly better deco job.
  5. Transformers Legacy toyline

I refuse to believe humans chose to live in a place like Australia with the sheer number of deadly animals that inhabit the area. On land AND seas.
  6. X-Men '97 - continuation of 1992 Animated Series

The episode "Remember It" helped X-Men garner an Emmy nomination in the category of Outstanding Animated Program. Outside of production design work for Ashoka and Loki, no other Disney+ project managed to garner any significant nomination. Though, I think Loki got snubbed, but that's another...
  7. What stupid thing did the GOP say or do this time? Episode 3!

And I'm pretty sure any of them could kick my ass so...
  8. DC original animated movies

Crisis Part 3 dropped today. They actually wrapped it pretty good, and the "hook point" was actually rather novel. It does a good job of "clearing the slate" under the new DC management. The only new films in production, that I know of, is the new Watchmen adaption. If they handle things like...
  9. Studio Series discussion

That makes a HUGE difference. Cel-shading, when done in moderation, can offer a REALLY nice pop to the visual look. Toei ALWAYS animated some sort of “reflection” on Prime’s windows in every episode they did. The omission removes a key visual “hook” to the animated series/movie. As it...
  10. Transformers: One - New Animated Prequel coming September 20th, 2024 - New Toy Official Images!

The 1 STep Cog Changers, Prime Changers, Mega Changers (Titan Changers), Robot Battlers and Powerflip Prime are mass retail items. Basically, stuff is shipping out to retailers, but most retailers haven’t made their “fall resets” yet. Typically, throughout August, retailers will change over...
  11. Transformers: One - New Animated Prequel coming September 20th, 2024 - New Toy Official Images!

July 14 was the official “launch day” for Hasbro’s Transformers One line. Online retailers are now selling Transformers One products, Entertainment Earth has preorders, but many items are in stock at Amazon. Rollout is haphazard, as is usual. Amazon has oddities like having Prime Changer...

I will laugh SO HARD if Trump ends up suing Jones over this segment.

  15. Harris-Walz / Dems

I’ve seen several Biden ads on YouTube. Again, I think that goes back to demographic targeting: older individuals are more apt to be watching “normal” TV channels in a traditional OTA/OTC fashion. Most younger potential voters are probably on YouTube and Facebook, so that’s where the ads are...
  16. What stupid thing did the GOP say or do this time? Episode 3!

Like I said in the other thread, I find it hard to believe that if Biden wanted Trump dead, it would be this public or that the shooter would have missed at all. Even at 400 yards, a center mass shot with a rifle would have hit his upper torso where all the important organs are. That is a VERY...
  17. Mayhems tangled mess of controler cords

Yuh huh! I sure can! … And technically, if you use a trackpad, most don’t have dedicated buttons anymore so “left click” and “right click” are now universal one finger or two finger trackpad presses anyway, so most windows laptops don’t have right click anymore :p Also, my sister keeps telling...

  20. Traitor Watch - The 45 & 47 Thread

… Let’s be honest, if he had? Trump would NOT have walked away with a “grazed ear”. The investigation into this will be fascinating. Details are sparse enough that it’s too early to let conspiracies fly…but I find it hard to believe that any dedicated shooter would only fire ONCE.
