I like "Tracker" for JP93.
That name kind of reminds me of CW Alpha Bravo, which is literally just the initials for "AerialBot." I decided he would be G1 Evac.
Very cool that Parasite has an alternate head like Toy Scorponok does! Not sure how I feel about the notion that both heads might represent different characters, as that might tempt me to get two copies of the toy...
I think I like the "mutant" head better, but I also didn't notice the hex...
I think I'll call Red Cog "Recog" just to make sound a bit more like a normal TF name. Maybe even make him a mnemosurgeon or something. Regardless he looks good and all those accessories are terrific.
I already have golden disk Terrorsaur, but I've liked this toy version since it was leaked...
No, just give Drift his own new mold (though I'd still take a remolded Siege Springer as Drift).
I am a little frustrated that Legacy Elita still isn't quite a "pure" or dedicated Elita-1 design (sharing the base mold with Minerva), but I am also kind of glad, because trying to replicate her...
I am most stunned by Tarantulus (prefer the BWX spelling; sorry). I had low expectations since not all of the Kingdom beast toys are amazing - Cheetor and Scorponok bring the worst offenders - but I can't really find anything wrong with Tarantulas. He's amazing. I hope we get him redecoed in the...
Honestly, Universe 1.0 was a pretty important precursor to a full neo-G1 line as it made some actual G1 molds available at retail nearly 20 years after the franchise began and, likely more importantly, it did a bunch of "let's repaint these non-G1 molds into G1 characters" that would also be a...
I think the goal of having a mostly uniform aesthetic is trumping source accuracy. If we were getting a TFP equivalent of Studio Series this would probably be a different story
Just found Bulkhead at a local Target last night. He's nice; more complicated transformation than I expected. I do agree that the open packaging is a bad idea for the Legacy line - if Hasbro expects us to pay MSRP for these things, they should at least have the minimal amount of protection.
I...
I'm shocked at how close Primal is to the source material for a movie design. Obviously the deco is lacking. The transformation is amusing but gets the job done for this type of toy. Crossbow Tigatron looks stupid but fun.
Probably Magmatron. It was always just a bit more expensive than I wanted on ebay back in the late 2000s when I was really going after those kinds of toys.
