Honestly, if Minerva was either a Headmaster, or a Porsche, I probably would have bitten, but having it be neither just kinda put me off. I'm still planning on getting the Elita One version, though.

There's still three times the heroic nonsense to take care of, though.

Sometimes too much choice is just as bad as not having enough.

    Studio Series 86 Appreciation Thread

Yeah, Siege/ER definitely wins in the "gruff/ornery" department. SS86's noggin does look better in person than it did in pictures, though. I'd say SS86 wins in the alt-mode department. Wheels and a cohesive back end go a long ways. The colour mismatch is nowhere near as bad as the maroons on...

    Studio Series 86 Appreciation Thread

Ironhide arrived this morning. Still sorting out how I feel about it. It definitely does things better than the Earthrise figure, but it doesn't feel like a slam dunk. I dunno. The transformation is definitely more intricate, but very evocative of the prior figures. Fun fact: ER and SS86 weigh...

I saw everything from Siege numerous times over it's retail run. I never saw anything beyond wave one out of Earthrise. Even ordering online wasn't a guarantee of getting something. Distribution was a mess, so if anything from that bunch got a package refresh, I wouldn't mind too much.

I'd forgotten about that! That would definitely work to get them back in the picture.

    Favourte Gimmicks?

That's definitely one way to get the mold, but I really prefer it in its original use. I just need to be patient. 🙂 Yeah, that windshield does need a good bit of massaging, and even then it doesn't really stay together. But I find that's pretty minor in the grand scheme. I think I was one of...

    Favourte Gimmicks?

Yeah, I'm kicking myself for passing up on a cheap Siege Astrotrain when I had a chance in favour of Shockwave. Figured I'd get another chance with ER, but that didn't work out. I've probably said this lots before, but T30 Springer is definitely a top tier triple changer, too.

    Favourte Gimmicks?

In order: Super modes (PMOP was always my favourite toy as a kid!) Combiners (always fun!) Headmasters (I always liked the Transtector take on it) Triple Changers (Better in theory than in practice?_

    Star Trek Lower Decks

It wasn't that bad. Though I will agree that the misunderstanding trope is old and tired and I'm sure there could have been a better way to have set the chain of events in motion.

Boimler did have that girlfriend in S1, as well. Plus Billups is the noted asexual among the crew.

Peanut Hamper is one of these: https://memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/Exocomp They were able to communicate among each other, and Data in the first appearance, but came a long ways since.
