pretty much my answer too. tired of buying the same character over and over and over again until i get the "best" one. forcing myself to just STOP has been great. no longer chasing yet another ratchet or prowl. focusing my collection on just getting characters that appeared in the original show...

after much searching, i finally ordered a few kits. a couple dnd ones, a reaper one and the vallejo one (both of these were the ones posted). ill have 4 minis to practice on until hq arrives. and best i can tell, theres no color doubles (couldnt read what was in the vallejo set, other than basic...

thats kinda why i want to get one or two of those reaper sets. i can practice on those guys before i tackle the actual hq ones. and like i said, i can use those as special heroes or villains in the game, assuming i dont screw them up!

im not replacing anyone but menasor. hes the only one im not happy with well, maybe bruticus. just so i can get a good brawl out of it

oh this isnt my first rodeo with paint. ive painted tons of tfs over the years. i just wanted to know what kind of paint is the best to use for this specific kind of thing, as ive never painted miniatures before. thanks for the help (y)

i dont mind loosing the whole "scramble city" thing. i never swapped limbs on them in the first place. well, i may have on a whim to see what it would look like. but i usually just kept the teams together

not sure if youre being sarcastic or not, but yes, there are. dinobots sword handle would actually be very easy. i dont think id paint the peg that goes into his hand though. itd probly rub off if its used a lot. ive never solved that problem :(
