Been bouncing all over, nothing's really got hooks in me at the moment.
SRW:T - left off early on in a mission for a series I'm not familiar with that isn't really grabbing me with what it's doing (Nadesico), and not having enough others I care about yet to really balance things out.
Gloomwood...
I've not personally played either, but WoFF has been heavily recced to me by a friend, and it does look pretty charming from the screencaps/clips they shared.
I bounced hard off of A Wonderful Life back in the day, but I've been thinking about giving it another chance lately. A shiny remake is as good an excuse as any!
For real, we've gotten a frankly ridiculous amount of deep cut figures over the years, but we can't get one Blatantly Magenta Hot Rod, not even through wallet-gouging exclusive avenues? I don't like to sound like an entitled asshole, but come on.
Having the optional mode was definitely one of the high points of Tunic for me (tho it's not currently a switch game). Got deep enough in and didn't want to get derailed for a few hours learning a boss, boom, god mode.
You're misremembering, it always faded out with the driver making some offhand comment - you might be conflating it with the need to manually travel to some of the secondary cities on foot before you could use their carts, though.
Saw someone else compare the axe to a big disc lollipop in a photo, had to do a spin on it myself when i realized he can sit if you mount the gun on his back and turn it down.
Liking this guy a lot more than I expected, and I already expected a lot. Since I didn't go in on Laser Prime, he's my first go at the mold, so to me it's wild just how different it feels with only really changing the top half.
I've not messed with a lot of other roguelites, but Hades definitely goes a lot harder on the story than a lot of them - that's that Supergiant quality for ya.
Horror's not generally my bag, but DUSK and Doom 64 on my list earlier qualify, and since you were eyeballing Shovel Knight: Treasure...
Yeah, just when I'd had the preorder with them earlier, they hit with an alert of "oh we're delaying to October, so sorry," so then I'd moved my pre-order to Pulse. A bit of an amusing, if slightly frustrating turn of events in the end.
