I'm holding out for Captain Jae, paying off 33 years of character setup.

    Star Trek General Discussion

Well, if this is a replacement for Star Trek: Epic, expect these students to encounter universe-ending crises at least once a season. More to the point, DSC establishes that the Federation still exists as far ahead as the 32nd century. If anything, from a historical perspective, that's...

What stupid thing did the GOP say or do this time? Episode 3!

And it won't matter a whit because GOP cultists don't consider themselves part of "the masses."

    Star Trek: Picard

It occurs to me that the thing I love about Picard this season is that it's making me imagine a USS Titan series featuring Shaw, Seven, Sydney, and Jack (and the rest of the Titan crew), with the TNG cast relegated to occasional guest appearances for the "big" episodes.

To be fair, plans don't tend to survive contact with the enemy (especially if the enemy is predatory megafauna). It'd suck to end up needing an autocannon and not have it.

True, though we saw the Stargazer being recovered on-screen in "The Battle."

Regarding Voyager, note that Voyager's return would've been before Jack was born; regardless of timeline weirdness (this show can't possibly be in 2401 as claimed) Jack was canonically only conceived after Nemesis, which included this scene:

Heh. "You will grow into this." Lady, I have some bad news about Grogu's species. Note that the Armourer never seems to actually attach the pieces she creates, she just kinda "sticks" them in place and they stay through the magic of cinema. Maybe that integrated tech is some kind of magnetic...

    Star Trek: Picard

I've seen speculation reversing that; that Lore (or something derived from him) is the one in control of Daystrom station, and Worf and Raffi have just acquired a program specifically-designed to defeat Soong-type androids: Dr. Moriarty.

    Transformers Legacy toyline

Beast Machines is one of the lines where I'd actually want the RED series to cover it. The Vehicons are one thing, but no physical toy will ever be able to capture the transmorphing of the Maximals (and given the plot, I kinda see show-accuracy as important here; the Maximals were something...

    Star Trek: Picard

Also, Picard seems to have re-retconned Bajoran earrings: When Ro was first introduced on TNG, the costume department decided that Bajoran earrings would be gender-segregated; women wore them on the left ear, while men wore them on the right. In DS9, the writers introduced the traditional...

War Sci-fi Fantasy Horror Mystery Crime Thriller

"Canon" doesn't mean what 21st-century fans think it means. It doesn't mean "this is the One True Continuity," it just means that these were officially-licensed Robotech media and that all characters and events therein were the intellectual property of Harmony Gold. The books could never have...
