    Transformers Legacy toyline

Well, given how much TV the Junkions watch. . .

Ezra Miller is somehow The Flash in the DCEU

Not just promotion; a couple of months back, a friend on discord did an informal check and noted that Batman or Batman-related titles made up something like 70% of DC's published output for the month. It's the old "female Transformers toys don't sell" fallacy again. You can't sell products...

    Fantasy Gunslinging anyone?

I'll go for an obscure one: Lazarus Lane, also known as El Diablo. Formerly a mild-mannered bank clerk, Lazarus was caught in a bank robbery, shot, and left for dead. He was found by an Apache shaman who revived him as a spirit of vengeance (and became his mentor), and he became a vigilante...

What stupid thing did the GOP say or do this time? Episode 3!

This is why you hire proofreaders.

    Transformers: EarthSpark

Back in those innocent days when we thought that was unrealistic.

    Star Trek: Discovery

I feel like S4 fell into the same trap that Andromeda (and for that matter, the Star Wars EU) did years ago; "the Federation/Commonwealth/Jedi Order is gone --Until our Heroes bring it back completely in a single weekend, complete with an older generation who've apparently been doing this job...

    Star Trek: Picard

I'm a bit concerned about Worf's comments about embracing pacifism; western pop cultural ideas of pacifism are almost always hypocritical, simplistic, and mainly exist to be mocked. OTOH, while I have no faith in the writers being willing or able to pull this off, I would love to see an...

The Rings of Power - LotR prequel streaming on Amazon Prime Video

Though it's important to realize --especially for us Transformers fans-- that this is the first real "reboot" the LotR franchise has been through. That's part of why people are losing their minds over the changes to the SACRED CANON of Tolkien's books. We all got this out of our systems back in...

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny

The way to really capitalize on an Indy toyline would be playsets (full of booby-traps and hidden doors) and vehicles (with breakaway panels and battle adventure damage). Just go full retro and make it the 80s toyline we never had. Maybe even re-use some old period-appropriate G.I. Joe molds.

    Andor - streaming on Disney+

Hey, Cassian has a Bryar pistol! Dark Forces reference! (And if it looks different from Kyle's, that's allowed for, as Kyle's was canonically made from a(n unseen) "Bryar rifle" that had been cut down and modded.) And the flashback sequences raise questions/interesting worldbuilding details:

Thundercats - General Discussion (and some Silverhawks too, whynot)

Yeah, the 2011 series has Mon*Star as one of Mumm-Ra's subordinates before Leo's rebellion (meaning that Mon*Star could easily have gone into business for himself during the thousands of years that Mumm-Ra was trapped on Third-Earth).
