Post Pictures of your Transformers, Let's see 40 years worth of Transformers!

Ever since the whole Legacy Blitzwing thing blew up last week, my TR figure has kinda been hogging my attention, and reminding me how much I still like it. I kinda wish the Titan Master had a better place to hang out here, though I suppose I could just leave it attached to the back. The...

    Star Trek: Picard

Unless after season three we get Star Trek: Stargazer as a follow-up. Also, is anyone else terrified that all the TNG cast will return just to get offed in some terrible way?

    Ninja Turtles - Cowabunga!

Huh. Those aren't bad. Headscultps seem kinda off for some reason, though. But, there always was a lot of variation on how the '87 Turtles heads could look.

    Star Trek: Picard

Given the general arrogance of the Borg as a whole, I'm not entirely certain they care.

    Star Trek: Picard

I always wondered how much knowledge is retained by a single drone in the Collective. I kinda figure it sits in some kind of instantly accessible drone powered Borg-Wiki to be used when the situation demands. But not everyone would have the entirety of the assimilated information in the...

    Star Trek: Picard

I read someone's review that said it could have been as easy as a line saying that Tom Paris taught her to drive on the holodeck, and honestly, that's all it would have taken for me. Her getting better at it as she went definitely isn't a problem, though. Adapting quickly is something she's good...

    Transformers Legacy toyline

Man, what a fantastic robot mode, but both alt modes give me serious pause. I have a hard time coming to terms with how bad the jet mode turned out, in particular. I suppose my TR Blitzwing will stay on the shelf for the time being.

    Star Trek: Picard

I know this is awful, but when the Confederation officers beamed about La Sirens and blasted Elnor, my initial reaction was "Oh no, they shot their dog!" (Honestly, I feel his character has been reduced to pretty much "family dog", going between overly affectionate to attacking all the threats...

    Star Trek: Picard

The USS Archimedes from LD ended up being an Obena class, but the only major difference really between it and the Excelsior II class looks to be the nacelle pylons. Really, though, if they wanted to retcon the classes together to be the same, I doubt anyone would get too worked up. Maybe.

    Star Trek: Picard

I had always assumed that there had been some kind of brainwashing/conditioning going on beyond the apocalyptic vision. Heck, the Romulans did it to LaForge back in TNG season...five? The process maybe got more efficient as the years went on.

    Star Trek: Picard

There were so many good ideas in season one that could have made for the basis of the season on its own - Hugh and the XB's, the fallout of the destruction of Romulus and the displacement of the Romulans as a whole, or even Soji and Dahj, and Data's legacy. Instead they mashed that all together...

    Star Trek: Picard

I really wasn't going to watch after (what I thought was) the disaster that was season one. That said, I really wanted to see de Lancie and Stewart together on screen again, so I wanted to give it another try. I'm glad I did. Really enjoyed the first episode, and I want to see how it goes!

Walmart.ca started clearing out their Kingdom deluxes a couple of weeks ago. It was hit or miss as some came up and some dropped off as stock fluctuated. Also picked up Slammer for that price, but haven't opened it yet. Should have grabbed Waspinator, too, but I'm really trying to avoid the...

I've never made secret the fact that I wasn't a fan of Huffer. Compared to Cliffjumper, he just didn't seem as elegantly done - the transformation was clunkier, the vehicle mode had some awkward angles, and the robot mode felt just kinda average. So, I wasn't planning on getting Pipes, but...

    Titans Return Appreciation Thread

Blurr was the first Takara figure that I'd imported, after many years of being tempted to. That colour scheme was just too beautiful to ignore. As for TR in general, I think what really helped it succeed was coming off a year and a half of CW and the relative sameness of everyone needing to be...

    Best figures of 2021?

Huffer has that whole banana shape thing going that just frustrates me a LOT, plus I just didn't find the transformation that enjoyable. After missing the "blink and you'll miss it" distribution of Netflix wave two, I had Bee shipped to me from the States. I split his windshield on the first...

    Best figures of 2021?

I think it was the Leader class figures that impressed me most this year: SS Grimlock and Slag Kingdom Galvatron Cyclonus, Wreck-Gar and Hot Rod were the standouts in Voyager class. Hot Rod in particular may have one of the most enjoyable robot modes of the past couple of years. In terms of...

    Ninja Turtles - Cowabunga!

I've been listening to those over the past while. It's been nice to have that confirmation that the series was as good as I remembered it nearly two decades ago. The next videos should be interesting as I never saw Fast Forward, or the "Lost Season", just Turtles Forever. I just remember it...

My two recent pickups: Classics Prime is once again in my collection, and the TFX-06 upgrade set. I won't lie, I'm kinda really enjoying this. Yeah, the truck mode is a bit iffy, but it certainly looks better in hand than it does in pictures. Couldn't beat the price, either.
