In somewhat random news - Hiya Toys has announced a Star Trek license (though no significant details). I've enjoyed their 1:18 offerings so far - despite being a bit pricey. It'd be cool to have Trek in the same scale as Star Wars and Joes though.
I'm a little surprised they don't make a full set of converting dice.
Boy they did get his punchable face right though. Even as a kid watching the show I wanted to smack him! :D
I dropped every one of those figures into hot water and let them soften up a bit first, then very carefully exercised every joint because the reports of breakage due to frozen joints was alarming.
Even after doing this they're still really tight, but I feel better about carefully moving things.
The Siege jets, and even the Bumblebee Movie designs are far more "inspired by" than actual representations like this Jazz and Bee were.

I don't know if it was quite that rosy. They threw everything at the wall in 93-94 and sales had fallen off the cliff. It may have been cheesy, but they knew they needed to do something different.
