    Favourte Gimmicks?

Playsets and/or vehicles. Granted, they mostly only work for small-scale figures (Core and smaller), but building a world for the Transformers to live in beyond just the Titan figures is kind of fun. (Much like the Target/Battlemasters, I would prefer transforming vehicles and playsets) On a...

Post Pictures of your Transformers, Let's see 40 years worth of Transformers!

I've actually got 2 Valvotrons; one for work and one for home. I had to buy the oil anyway, so it made sense to get the limit. Longarm is a great choice! I work in auto parts, so, yeah, vehicle maintenance or repair is kind of what I was going for.

New shelf layout at work. I had to rearrange my office to make room for a big switch cabinet, so I have a different, wider shelf now. Any suggestions for (mostly) automotive-adjacent Transformers (that aren't wildly expensive) like the Alternators that would add to the display?

Super7 Godzillas! I haven't even gotten these out of package, yet, but I'm pretty excited to have them! Shogun Godzilla and Marusan Godzilla were some of the amazing vintage figures I drooled over in the pages of G-fan magazine and Godzilla collectible guides. Having versions I can own and...

The Kaiju Thread of Building-Smashing, Flame-Breathing, and Slam-Dunking

I am fairly vocal for my love of the Trendmasters Godzilla toys, and I recently acquired a couple of my favorites that were missing from my collection: Biollante and Spacegodzilla! TM Biollante compared to a Bandai Biollante. Obviously, the Bandai version is more faithful to the film...

Well, there were 2 G2 colors for each of the 3 Dinobots that did get released, and unreleased ones for Grimlock, Sludge, and Swoop. So that's 9 G2 colors already, which would be a lot at Leader prices, but manageable at Core.

Pacific Rim is definitely a first-tier choice. It's self-contained, and got a great story. And, it's visually amazing! Good call! I saw Colossal, it was different, for sure, definitely not the traditional kaiju flick, but fun to watch! I love Godzilla vs Biollante! Lots of fun moments; I wish...

I've been seeing Volcanicus again at Targets recently with their recent restocks; YMMV, but if you're looking for one and can get to a Target, you might find one there.

Honestly, the CW G2 Stunticons scratched that itch for me. (Wish I'd gotten the Aerialbots, too, but only for Powerglide) If Hasbro is going to do G2 designs, I'd rather they did the unreleased Protectobots, all the G2 Dinobots released and unreleased, or a redo on the minibots (and finish out...

    Favourte Gimmicks?

Targetmasters/Battlemasters--to my mind, most Transformers weapons should have their own robot mode. And many of those should be beasts, not strictly humanoid, such as Pteraxodon. Binary combiners like in Energon. Yeah, the execution wasn't the greatest, but some of the combinations were...

They're being pretty cagey about the Dinobots; seems like someone by now would admit a Dinoking is in the pipeline?

That's a great suggestion! I can't believe I forgot it, King Kong vs Godzilla was the first Godzilla film I remember seeing, and it is a lot of fun!

So, I am babysitting my store tonight while a technician does some work on the network cabling, and, as tradition demands, I brought in a TV to watch some Pinky and the Brain, Godzilla: Up From the Depths (my son's name for the H-B cartoon, I quite like it), and now Gamera vs Gyaos (in Japanese...

So, fun story, I am the oldest of 8 kids, with a 20 year span between me and my youngest sibling (brother). I first started heavily collecting Transformers when RiD01 hit stores. Transformers were cars and trucks again, all was right with the world. (I like to think I've grown a bit in my...

    Transformers Legacy toyline

I've only dipped a little into the add-on market. Bought a Matrix for G1 Prime from Transrepro back in the day, and the G1 Prowl and Tracks heads for RiD Prowl and Sideburn (looking back, 20-y.o. me was kind of a dork! Thankfully, I quickly got out of that stage and reversed that error!) And a...

    Transformers: EarthSpark

I do get the price issue, but it's not like the Cyberverse figures and even these Earthspark finger puppets don't transform; in the case of the former, the transformations stopped in a weird gerwalk-like mode for (mostly) poorly-executed action features, the latter have to auto-convert when you...
