  1. Oddest or most random "Holy Grails"

Oh, wow, thanks! I didn't know much of that at all, and it explains everything. That's VERY interesting, and great foresight on their part!
  2. Oddest or most random "Holy Grails"

While it's not a 'grail' as I do have one, I have often wondered if the Grand Max shell included with Double Pretender Megatron was originally run with the Encore Fortress Maximus, as when I put them together the grey plastic matched really well. I wonder if it was cast at the time and then...
  3. Transformers Collaborative (Transformers X Star Wars: The Mandalorian)

And of course the character's normal outfit somehow is hidden right UNDER the clothes of the stolen identity...
  4. Transformers Collaborative (Transformers X Star Wars: The Mandalorian)

Four-way. HISS Megatron rolls into the frame and the Baroness leaves the cockpit, only to unzip her uniform and it's discovered that she was a My Little Pony character in disguise. Then the Baroness-themed Pony (I guess black with Cobra cutie marks or something) has her head suddenly open and...
  5. Post Pictures of your Transformers, Let's see 40 years worth of Transformers!

*Knockout snores* "Go home, Knockout, you're drunk." *Wheels pop out, Knockout rolls away* "Hey! HEY! STAY OFF THE ROAD, JERK!"
  6. The Kaiju Thread of Building-Smashing, Flame-Breathing, and Slam-Dunking

Who cares? If a toy is damaged being played with by a kid, that's 'in the line of duty'! When my nephew, who lives next door to me, was born I had several look at the robot collection and say 'you're going to have to be really careful that he doesn't get into the collectibles!'. I said that...
  7. The Kaiju Thread of Building-Smashing, Flame-Breathing, and Slam-Dunking

I admit I think MonsterArts are overpriced, all the ones I have were either paid for with Ebay or clearance bin finds at B&N. Biollante weirdly got paid for by a Comic Con Explosion con-exclusive I got cheap, then sold to someone years later who clearly thought more highly of 'yellow painted...
  8. The Kaiju Thread of Building-Smashing, Flame-Breathing, and Slam-Dunking

Well, it would, but anyone who stepped outside for a smoke break that day was incinerated. On the bright side, the cancer rate WAS down quite a bit... My city is a mix of recycled parts, Eyepop designs buildings, and random stuff. Monsters can be anything from vinyls to Monsterarts to a...
  9. The Kaiju Thread of Building-Smashing, Flame-Breathing, and Slam-Dunking

I didn't know we HAD a kaiju thread...I have a little model city shelf I use to wreck stuff: It's a homage to something. Really, look it up. If people expected me to take this seriously they shouldn't have ever made the toys about the right size... He was made of snow but the children...
  10. Transformers Collaborative (Transformers X Star Wars: The Mandalorian)

Honestly that's why I thought of Ghostbuster Optimus, it was clearly not meant to be a part of the line but had some parts like the trap for roller and the proton pack adapter for the ion rifle tacked on. Weirdly, that will make them work well together on a shelf, I think as Megatron sort of...
  11. Transformers Collaborative (Transformers X Star Wars: The Mandalorian)

Thank you. Also: Wow...I mean, I knew that many figure lines had a lot of variation (my very small Star Wars display has a mix of 5-POA, full body articulation, and one Dooku that just waves his lightsaber when you press his legs) but I had no clue it was that complicated. Oh, well, worse...
  12. Transformers Collaborative (Transformers X Star Wars: The Mandalorian)

You mean the 25th HISS was the original-style tooling? I figured the back pegs would have been incompatible. Sorry if these are dumb questions, but a lot of things are new to me. Like how O-ring I understood to mean the rubber ring in the old figures, but how seems to be more a style...
  13. G.I. Joe thread - 09/13/2024: Pulsecon - Dreadnoks, Dogs and Cereal

I also asked something like this in the Megatron HISS thread, but I've never been big into GI Joe, I only have a few. I noticed the foot peg holes seem to vary with the generations. This might make riding on the back of the HISS tricky. Also, does anyone know if the cockpits for the 'o-ring'...
  14. Transformers Collaborative (Transformers X Star Wars: The Mandalorian)

One thing I noticed looking at the few Joe figures I have (though I will be trying to get a Destro to go with this, as I noted before) was that the foot peg holes seem to vary with the generations, and I've never kept track of which was which. Does anyone know if the cockpits for the 'o-ring'...
  15. Transformers Collaborative (Transformers X Star Wars: The Mandalorian)

Actually, I forgot about Viper and I have one. I will be giving HISS Megatron a Targetmaster partner!
  16. Transformers Collaborative (Transformers X Star Wars: The Mandalorian)

Ok, I had no idea a HISS toy was that big. I don't regret my order. Now to get a Destro to man the turret.
  17. Transformers Collaborative (Transformers X Star Wars: The Mandalorian)

I only have a few Joe figures, I mainly want this for the (to me) really strange tank mode and the fact that it can be ridden by a human. Of course, then there are all the comic possibilities of a Kiss Players Megatron and Baroness...
  18. Transformers Collaborative (Transformers X Star Wars: The Mandalorian)

Maybe it's not Megatron, it's the tank Destro made Baroness using scans of him for an anniversary present. It explains the box markings and why she's riding it in both modes. Also, in some level I want to see Megatron's Race Queen figure riding in this. I don't have one, but you know someone...
  19. Transformers Collaborative (Transformers X Star Wars: The Mandalorian)

And if you get a reissue Destro (or have one already) you can stick it in the back turret and now Megatron is a chaperone for a date!
  20. Transformers Collaborative (Transformers X Star Wars: The Mandalorian)

That's because Cobra bought their tech privately with their own money and shopped for the best they could get via decent contractors. GI Joe was limited to taxpayer funding and their few 'big budget' tech items got cut back when they went over-cost.
