  1. What happened to my Filmation He-man and She-ra???

Syndication is dead. And many episodes of the show(s) have been available across assorted streaming services for years. Hell, you can go on to YouTube and watch a bunch of them RIGHT NOW
  2. G1 Transformers Size, Power, and Mass

You can get your Animated Omega Supreme after I get my Grand Mal Megatron, deal?
  3. Thundercats - General Discussion (and some Silverhawks too, whynot)

So did HBO Max, last I knew. Also, WTF Super7. I got Silverhawks wave 2 in my pile of loot, while Wave 1 got delayed AGAIN to almost summer. And no word on wave 3, which would likely help “wrap up” the limited nature of the line. I better not be left hanging without Copper Kid and Flashback!
  4. Why was there a lack of fanfare for the 20th anniversary of a Beast Wars and could have this have caused Primal to win the prime fan vote?

I’ve long said Beast Machines, on its own merits, is a VERY good series. But it will NEVER escape the shadow of Beast Wars, which was more accessible, “more fun”, and better managed (and thus, more successful). And I’ve been saying for YEARS that about the only Titan I’d drop full price, day...
  5. Shattered Glass Thread

I’d almost say to wait for pictures of Leader Grimlock in a more natural lighting situation. A lot of the recent official pics from Hasbro feel overexposed or too bright. I know Cheetor came across as far more “dull orange” instead of the bronze sheen the final figure exhibits.
  6. He-Man, and also the Masters of the Universe

I think I’ll be fine. While I have some general nostalgia and few select memories of the original MOTU line (like getting the rare 1987 Fakor for Christmas, or the smaller Bionosaurs), it was really the 200x series that cemented a strong attachment to the brand. It took a kooky old franchise...
  7. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts

Unless I'm mistaken and there was a back of box image...that EXACT sequence is featured heavily the existing trailer for the film. More likely, Hasbro contracted someone for the "world exclusive REVEAL" for that. But good thing retail remains backed up with Starscream (and to a far lesser...
  8. The Mandalorian - streaming on Disney+

New season has started! Not a lot of story, but it gives us some fun stuff to kick things off fro the new season. A recap of things, a look into the Mando rituals, they fight Terragator, whose big scene is ended by a torpedo from Din. This is very much a "setup" for the rest of the season...
  9. Does anyone have any idea of when it is most likely we will find out who the new Transformers comic publisher and why it has not happened yet?

I would be SHOCKED if this little company were to get the GI Joe license. I don't see anywhere near the infrastructure or resources to support a major publishing project like GI Joe. I'm more inclined to think that Larry Hama is being added to the company's roster of talent.
  10. He-Man, and also the Masters of the Universe

Uh Oh. So, I had some extra Amazon Credit from work (15 years working, yay!) and went ahead and ordered the Origins Snake Armor He-Man (my favorite variation of He-Man) and 200x Skeletor. I think I may have a new collecting “itch”. More thoughts later, but I will say that the head sculpt...
  11. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts

That retro-flavored deluxe seemed to come first. Judging from the Beast Alliance toys and what I’ve seen of the promo material and studio series, it seems the beast modes were finalized fairly early, but the robot modes seemed to go through some additional revisions. I get the feeling that the...
  12. Transformers Legacy toyline

Still waiting for the amazing Powermaster Prime redo this team is capable of at this price point.
  13. He-Man, and also the Masters of the Universe

I feel like this is going to be hard to get: Savage Eternia Moss Man. I can only find him for sale on the international Mattel Shop site, alongside the Savage Eternia Skeletor (new design)...
  14. He-Man, and also the Masters of the Universe

To be fair, trying to judge sales on kids lines is a bit tricky these days. Companies really aren’t promoting them, and by nature, have a slower cycle than we’re used to in collector centric lines. My observations were that they were, seemingly, solid sellers. New characters were seemingly...
  15. Transformers Legacy toyline

One of the early images for Armada Prime DID show his wrist stacks are removable, but share the standard plug size. The stacks could be mounted to the butt plate, leaving other attachments to be put on the wrist ports.
  16. He-Man, and also the Masters of the Universe

Also saw the Masterverse NA He-Man last week. Didn’t realize it was a timed Target exclusive, I think? Website says exclusive, but it could also be a timed deal as well. Either way, as much as I love NA…the figure just didn’t click with me. This was a time where they seemed accurate to a...
  17. He-Man, and also the Masters of the Universe

Makes me wonder which end called it: Was it Netflix, unhappy with viewing numbers? Or was it Mattel, unsatisfied with the toy sales? I’m inclined to put this on Netflix, given the sheer amount of product that seems on the docket for release. You don’t release a $100 play set when your show is...
  18. Transformers Legacy toyline

More pictures are out of Armada Prime. It’s like, my wallet says no, my brain says “wait for repaint”…but I’ll be dipped if it doesn’t look gorgeous. https://news.tfw2005.com/2023/02/25/even-more-legacy-evolution-commander-armada-optimus-prime-in-hand-images-476378 Worth noting the image...
  19. He-Man, and also the Masters of the Universe

Guess that explains the mass clearance of the Netflix series toys, then!
