In JG1 continuity they moved the other remains of Unicron to a "Point Zero" or something like that as I recall. Probably to explain why that ISN'T right next to Cybertron at this point, and tie in a few other things given how self-referential JG1 gets.

Some thoughts on how all the post-Nemesis shows weave together, given the Prodigy finale: I do know some would rather ignore certain series, but, intentional or not, LD and Prodigy really do seem to have expanded on things enough to explain some of the goings-on in Picard that we all disliked.
