An overnight floorpolish treatment worked wonders. Wish it had wrists as he’s a sword user but whatever

Good fig but every single joint is varying degrees of floppy.

Well-articulated and toleranced overall but dragon mode is very gappy. Robot mode also has the dragon chest just hanging there. Tail is also on the looser side and the way that the port is in the mouth, the fire effect never sits straight.

IIRC the tier bonuses were really lame. Weren’t they like extra skulls to toss around the diorama and repacks of retail figures?

The drawing on the trading card had them lime green.

Wiki says this came out in 2003. I assume those are meant to be yellow but the coloring makes them look a bit on the green side. The MP-01 repaint was then released in 2005. Maybe a hugged up game of telephone?

Wasn't it because of Dreamwave? Had the red/blue original version but a cousin or something broke it and the only replacement they could buy by that time was the powerlinx version. I kind of like the concept, being more or less regular Optimus colors but distributed differently. It's the sort...

The lightsaber probably would have failed regardless of who it belonged to. $500 is insane and as I understand, the roleplay segment of the fandom isn't as big as the figure collectors. As long as the transformers campaigns focus on making mainline but with more bells and whistles, it should do...

Huh, Powerlinx colors somehow make this thing look way better. Remembering the chain and the breaking clips keeps temptation at bay though.

Regular Optimus already has a lot of red. Adding a bit more red doesn't change him much. I dunno, between that and the trailer being lame and a barren winter wasteland, not feeling it.

Wish robot mode had more white or forest green. It comes across as a slightly more adventurous Optimus than a Christmas-themed one.

I hope it does well enough to get more stretch goals. I don't dislike the throne and stand but those just eat up valuable shelf estate. I'd prefer something more toyetic than display options to sweeten the deal, even if it is just more repainted Micromasters or something. I dunno, give him the...

Cobra Commander would open a dog-walking service if he could convince himself that it would somehow lead to world domination

Hasbro doesn't get to decide that. The big retailers do.

Making her a headmaster would probably mean they'd reuse the TR style headmaster, which would make her somewhat bobbleheaded given the smaller size and slimmer build.
