Mayhem Transformers Discussion: United We Shelfwarm

Isn't the Authentics Arcee in the smaller scale? I think it is basically Core class size. EDIT: yeah, it's in the Bravo 5 inch assortment, so more or less the size of a Core figure. It's definitely on my list of figures to hunt for, particularly because it's in the smaller scale.

You aren't wrong. Speaking as a fan of the Gobots, there's always that nagging little what-if question: if Tonka had gone to Marvel/Sunbow and Hasbro had gone to Hanna-Barberra for their fiction, which line (if any) would still be around today? That said, there has been plenty of times over the...

If Motormaster is backwards compatible with the CW limbs, and if they do a G2 redeco, I might bite. No use for him otherwise. Tarantulas, Elita-1, and Knockout are must-buys, although I doubt Knockout will be Knockout in my collection. Jhiaxus is a maybe; he certainly looks like the G2...

I have a second TR Megatron for exactly that. Not sure where the faceplate is, but I think I have one of those as well. Just need to get the time to actually work on some of these projects. One of these days...

    The Repaint Concept Thread

I always thought they ought to redeco a Blitzwing mold as Leader-1; jet and robot mode decoed for the Gobot. Tank mode decoed for the Mini-con.

Nope, there is nothing wrong with wanting more Cy-Kill in the world.

I know that the shape isn't right for a "true" G2 Megatron, but I do like the deco on that mold. Something about the green with purple camo just does it for me.

I think Alternators Smokescreen is still pretty amazing. Not fun to transform, but still amazing. Smokescreen, Silverstreak, Ravage, and Mirage all hang out on a shelf in my office at work, but Smokescreen is the stand-out figure. I'm not going to lie, I would be down for an Alternator-like...

Not disagreeing, and I liked the Alternators, but they weren't really toys like the Classics were. I feel like Alternators is sort of a divergent evolution of the mindset that became the Masterpiece line, in that they were more directly aimed at the adult collector market than other Hasbro main...

Has that been confirmed? 'Cause I might actually have a use for a red Jazz... The use of the Prime moniker for some of these is a little bit of a stretch, though. Arcee is pretty clearly based on her Prime incarnation, but Bulkhead could have just been Bulkhead and not tried to maintain the...

I've had decent luck with Target finds, particularly the Buzzworthy stuff, if I see the Target Terrorsaur when it comes out, I will pick one up and PM you. (The Target version is supposed to be toy colors, by the way, if that makes a difference.)

G.I. Joe thread - 09/13/2024: Pulsecon - Dreadnoks, Dogs and Cereal

If they would make figures based on the actual PSAs, I think I would buy them. These ones based on the parodied PSAs are funny, but I feel less inclined to actually spend money on them.

The gang's all here... Well, officially so, anyway. So glad to have a blue Bluestreak besides the 3D puzzle version! And whoever picked the name surely has an ironic sense of humor. I would still like to see a yellow Cheetor version, and I would welcome any other colors Hasbro might choose to...

Oddly, it’s kind of common for Japanese toys around that era to use Garry instead of Carry. Bandai had Jet Garry and Siren Garry, for example. I’m not sure if it’s a concession to pronunciation issues, or if there’s a grammatical rule involving dakuten that causes it (the character for the Ka...

Oddest or most random "Holy Grails"

Likewise, Dinoking, and I would be fine with an updated version that has dinosaur altmodes and does away with the shells. Or, hard plastic shells, but I think the former is more likely than the latter.

I wish we had gotten a Battlemaster that homaged Armada Laserbeak. That would have been cool!
