He looks close enough to the same size that it would be weird if they're not interchangeable. And he is still part of WFC trilogy, which generally has had a tendency toward compatibility.
And I agree that the BWX leaders (which people also rightfully criticized) are a completely parallel situation to these...complete with the fact that only one of them was good even from a "translation into a different aesthetic" viewpoint.
