    31 Days of Halloween (2022)

Oh, I'm not denying that at all. My post wasn't mean as a condemnatio. If anything, it was a defense of these movies. I've been watching them this week and can't help but notice that these movies would not be made this way toda. All you need to see as proof would be the remakes that have come...

    31 Days of Halloween (2022)

Parodies only make light of old movies because they're old. They're made with old tech, old cultural sensibilitie, old Hays Code restrictions. I wonder what iconography today's movies will be remembered for in 90 years.

Random Thoughts From Out of Nowhere

Okay, you may or may not follow these guys. So you may or may not get the inside jokes. But the sheer amount of self awareness in this video, I absolutely have to share it.

    IDW G5 #5

I watched the movie, the first episode of Make Your Mark and I think like 2 or 3 of the YouTube episodes. I also read issues 1-5 of the comic. The movie was good. YouTube did absolutely nothing for me. The comics... I stopped reading G4 because it just felt too shallow. G5 feels shallow and too...

    [OOC] STOMP Remembrance Project

Oh there's so much good here. Splash gets redeemed. Rhapsody shows her compassionate side. Static sees Amber has a naughty streak. I did enjoy Static's rather bi-polar treatment of Splash. Like he was rooting for her to be redeemed, but he wasn't giving her any slack either.

    [OOC] STOMP Remembrance Project

Oh...oh no! No no no no no! That...that wasn't...that was the exact opposite of what I wanted to do. I... I'm so sorry, Maple. I'M SO SORRY!!!! 😭😭😭😭

    31 Days of Halloween (2022)

I watched Invisible Man last night. It was...I guess it was pretty good for a movie, but for a movie included on a set of horror movies, I just don't see it. Whereas some of these movies are humorous because of outdated SFX and values dissonance, this one seemed to be deliberately comedic...

    Ninja Turtles - Cowabunga!

This is out today. The art was good (maybe a little too good for representing an 80's cartoon but I ain't complaining). They threw in just about every villain they could think of. But it makes sense in the context of the story and I rather enjoyed it. The humor overall was much less whacky than...

I canceled my subscription after this one. I think I'm just done with MLP for now. Maybe that's not a bad thing. Interest in things just kinda comes in waves. Right now I'm pretty much in a low point with MLP... and honestly, aside from the movie and the video game, I've seen very little...

    [OOC] STOMP Remembrance Project

What struck me is that all the times Static tries to censor himself around Maple, she admonished him on something he thought was so mild that it didn't even amount to a swear. It just struck me because IRL that's the same reaction I had. Like, that's so mild, people around here don't even...

It's an idea. I'll keep it in mind.

    Ninja Turtles - Cowabunga!

Grr! Okay, so I ordered the Raphael as Frankenstein's Monster from Amazon. This is what I got. A hugging TV tray! How did they even...? Like seriously..."TV Tray"..."Raph as Frankenstein's Monster." "TV Tray"..."Raph as Frankenstein's Monster." *sigh* So they refund the money (except for the...

    Saints Row

😂 *leaves someone in a precariously high point where they could easily fall and die* "Oh, neat!" *moves a car to a handicapped spot which, yes is a totally asshole thing to do, isn't a fatally asshole thing to do* "Dude...not cool." But yeah, this game does let you do some really asshole...

Mayhem Transformers Discussion: United We Shelfwarm

I have a G1 Landmine which is every bit as crap as has been said. I also got Pretender Bumblebee which I thought was pretty good. I didn't get the Pretenders for Grimlock, Jazz or Starscream. But they did sell the characters separately from the shells and I did get those. They...weren't great...

    31 Days of Halloween (2022)

Both the song itself and the cinematography are top notch here. I hate to credit Channel Awesome with anything, but back before everyone knew what assholes they were, they did introduce me to this little gem. The childhood song I learned was dark enough. This guy turns it up to 11...

    Ninja Turtles - Cowabunga!

I never did see the movie Tokka and Rahzar toys. So these are the first ones I've been able to get my hands on. Rahzar looks decent but I really don't like pea-soup green they used for Tokka. at least I can finally say I have Tokka and Rahzar in my collection.

    Saints Row

Thought I'd share some video I captured. Of all the rotten things I've done in this game, I think I really crossed the line with this one. I think the lesson here is, never allow me to get my hands on a helicopter IRL.

    Ninja Turtles - Cowabunga!

Heh! No. I've seen 2003 which is all well and good. But the few memories I do have with Fast Forward don't really make me care to see it again. I sure don't feel much like paying for it.

    31 Days of Halloween (2022)

Okay, here's a question for anyone who wants to answer. The package for Leonardo specifically says "Hunchback." Now given that description, first thought would go to Quasimodo. Here's the thing though. The accessories include a brain in a jar and some shovels. The overall design seems to depict...
