And what makes you think that the movie isn't going to be handling the Maximals and Predacons like AOE did for the Dinobots? Especially when the first piece of concept art created for Optimus Primal looked like this:

Why bother with any altmode that doesn't ever work as a disguise? This brand has thousands of those.

Nor does it look like these will either. And, truth be told, the Beast Modes were never actually disguises back in Beast Wars either. Or hey, now that I think about it, Beast Modes have barely ever been used for disguise purposes in all of Transformers history.
