Deathsaurus and Liokaiser do return later before Violengiguar shows up, but in forms that seem kinda undead, as if they were resurrected (maybe by Violengiguar). And their return is very brief since they're dealt with pretty quickly as Violengiguar brings for the Nine Great Demon Generals.
At least Wings of Honor Kup was justified in its being "This is a different body that Kup had a long time ago in his youth long before he got his more familiar old-age body" rather than saying "This is just what Kup looks like now because we don't want him to be an old timer anymore."

I'm beginning to notice a lot of people misremembering something about the Bulkheads of Animated and Prime. I'm going to make it clear. The Bulkheads of Animated and Prime were never military vehicles.

Everything else is just "generic green military guy", which Bulkhead's design was so much more than.
It says that this is "Voyager Prime Universe Bulkhead" and "Bulkhead's design is inspired by The Transformers: Prime series." That's far more explicit that mere deco inspiration.
And it only calls out Skids as being "updated with a Generations-style design," not so for Bulkhead.
