    The Repaint Concept Thread

Iirc it was a popular custom from the Deluxe T30 mold (and from T30 Brainstorm as well). I haven't gotten the Legacy Armadascream as I'm keeping my Deluxe Seeker team versions of that design, but I'd definitely grab a Pharma retool from that mold. But not as fast as I'd grab a box set of those...

Forty Years of Transformers Hot Takes

Yyyyeah. It was a lot of fun at first, but that didn't last very long before it was overtaken by "I'm gonna write in the wiki from here" energy. The whole question and answer format very quickly began to feel like fix fic theater. At least, I guess, most of the stuff was for the...

    Studio Series discussion

Wondering about the possibility of Hasbro eventually getting around to Core class versions of Rewind and Eject since they're starting with Steeljaw. I still don't think those are that good a value, but it sure beats having to buy Eject and his Blaster accessory.

When is the last time we got an original character redeco from a G1 character?

Remembering Red Cog just brings to mind that Doofenschmirtz "if I had a nickel".

When is the last time we got an original character redeco from a G1 character?

The ehobby reissues were the first thing that came to mind (that and maybe the Kiss Players cassettes?) but I figured there had to be more recent ones than that.

Which also means an opaque Eject, which is frankly what I'd be buying this for if I were buying it. Right now I just don't know, man.

    Transformers Legacy toyline

Yeah, specialty stores on this side of the world may bring it in, and there's a slim chance that mainstream retail might gamble on striking a deal for these exclusives again (they did get some Target exclusives during WFC, and the Walmart beasts from Legacy as well as Velocitron wave 1). None of...

One favorite thing from each era (or line, or year) of Transformers

Revisiting this with some time to think, but I'll try and go slow. GENERATION 1 (1980s/original run) This is cheating a bit as it covers so much ground, but I'd be mad to say anything other than the 1986 Movie was the most formative part of original G1 for me. Never got the comic, the cartoon...

    Transformers Legacy toyline

Maybe they straight up retooled the wings; the wing edges have serrations rather than the ribbed panels from Cyclonus. The head seems new too (i wish one of the Cyclonus releases had had a new head tooling; not this necessarily but something better than the original).

    Transformers Legacy toyline

Okay, I'm all over that batch of Deluxes and Ferak. Except maybe Lockdown. I wonder if you can store cannonball's accessories in those giant leg gaps, haha. I hope they take another stab at SG Starscream with this mold, hopefully with a better batch of plastic.

    Transformers Legacy toyline

I kept getting confused by how Windsweeper (and friends)/Breakdown is referred to as a 2-pack while the Insecticons and Malleus whatever are a 3-pack. You'd think they'd hype up that there are four TFs in that first set. But then I remembered that Needlenose and partners was one Deluxe class...

    Transformers Legacy toyline

I'm realizing now that the most Bulkhead part of that mold is really the truck cab, which is more or less Bulkhead's face (with much bigger eyes). This paint job highlights it by picking out that bumper as Bulkhead's jaw. That, or I need to stop just taking breaks from studying and actually go...

    Transformers Legacy toyline

TBH, Trashmaster was my first thought. Has that stocky, squared-off robot mode, a broad chest that doesn't have to look like window panels, Maybe give him some different accessories (change the claw thing to something else), plus the hammer accessory from Wreckers Bulkhead. Maybe the mold wasn't...

The 3rd Party Toy Picture thread

If and when, I might not ever bother with the lights. Maybe once, but if they're a lot of trouble either way, maybe never. This is not a good thing to be contemplating ALONGSIDE being tempted by the tiny Dr. Wu stuff.

If Hasbro were to reissue the G1 Citybots as Titan Class figures, would you get one?

May have meant a reengineered version of the partner for the 1987 toy?

The 3rd Party Toy Picture thread

I think I'd be fine with this actually. Have no need for the lights and such, but it looks great overall (even before unluckiness' great paint work). Seems hefty, and will be big enough vs the mainline to "feel" like a citybot. Nothing's going to really be in scale anyway, short of something...
