In the original movie, I am unclear whether any of those were ghosts or if they were just extra-dimensional beings. The library ghost seems the most likely to actually be a ghost, but it could be (just judging from that movie) that ghost stories developed mistakenly to explain Gozer's stuff...

Several people told me in person that he was a former whistleblower because he is now dead, but just look across headlines about people who died. Usually celebrities if it is a headline. It never calls them former actors or singers.
Trump really wasn't getting legislation done even when he had the majority. They got one big piece of legislation. Very little of my worries about Trump have anything to do with signing bills.
