I should note that of that list: Uhura - was having an affair with Gene. Yeoman Rand - Left the show after being sexually assaulted. Pulaski - enjoyed her guest roles on TOS, but hated the environment of TNG so she left after a season. Tasha Yar - was fired. Came back a few times after Gene's...

The baseball game is one of those weird episodes that they have to break the tension in this season. I do however, love that Sisko has a Starfleet rival. There is an entire episode about Nog's leg coming up.

And look where that got him. :p The simple fact of the matter is that the Enterprise needed to destroy the CE. If they didn't then they would be responsible for everyone else it would kill afterwards and all the worlds it would strip mine. This creature served no purpose other than galactic...

Activision-Blizzard Thread: Just announced the Layoffs of 1900 jobs.

I think that the single player content in Halo has been great, but the Multiplayer content just can't compete with all the other shooters out there.

I will have to rewatch that scene, as I completely forgot about that.

Lore sort of just lured it places. But I will definitely concede the point that it may well be sentient and we didn't get the chance to find out. In fact, let's say that this thing is super sentient, and it thinks, feels, loves, hates, and just generally experiences life like you and me. Does it...

It doesn't eat nebulas though(aside from an off hand comment in Lower Decks). Let me quote Picard himself: "…an unknown kind of creature, capable of stripping all life from an entire world… insatiably ravenous for the life force found in intelligent forms like us." That is what it is, and all...

I enjoyed that 2 out of 3 falls match on Collision. They really put on a show. The double Sharp shooters was epic! That is still my favorite submission move. Also loving how they had Punk lose in the final of the Owen hart championship. I wonder how that will play out next week.

Well, the Horta killed a few dozen people in retaliation for killing thousands of its young on its home world. this was a misunderstanding that was corrected to allow both species to coexist. The CE literally destroys worlds. It's a known threat to the entire galaxy, and it wasn't doing so due...

Season 1 of DS9 starts in the year 2369. Voyager starts in 2371, so yes, they are happening at about the same time. Pike was the Captain of the Enterprise before Kirk was. The Enterprise was originally captained by Robert April in 2245, then Pike in 2254, then Kirk in 2265 at the start of the...

Yeah, I was the only causality that day. I had to make a makeshift bandage for it and just rest for the rest of the afternoon.

The flaw in your concept here is that the Perpetrator isn't a sentient being. Its a like giant space shark that has killed hundreds of thousands, possibly even millions, already and will continue to do so, as that is its nature and what it does. To paraphrase Jaws, "Its miracle of evolution, as...

Not really what the federation does consistently though. I mean the Federation captured Lore, and he is a fully sentient being that had a kill count far below the CE, and they just disassembled him forever.

Update on the bunnies: Moonlight/Midnight cage is in my kids playroom, and they let him out in there to hop around and get exercise. Well, Saturday, my wife leaves me alone with the kids for like 5 hours, and the youngest two let out Moonlight/Midnight to hop around the playroom without talking...

I also found Red Squad to be the cocky kids. Anyone in their right mind would have taken the Valiant back to Federation space as soon as the officers were killed off. I get that the officers were basically co-conspirators in a coup of the federation, but the kids were just cadets doing what they...

    Star Trek General Discussion

The Fault in Our Stars is one of the best episodes of Star Trek. It doesn't really fit in with the storyline, but its a dang good episode that shows off Avery Brooks, and it just does what Star Trek is supposed to do. I can't even do it justice by trying to explain it.
