Until I'm back at work and back up to speed (which may still be a while) I'm hesitant to spend much more money than I have to. But I do intend on getting this.
One thing that worries me is that it's supposed to introduce health penalties for having too many body mods. Considering there's an...
Nostalgia, sure. But I think mostly Smash Bros. Like, seriously, Smash Bros is the only reason GC controllers have been made compatible with Wii U and Switch.
That's like saying being *redacted* on is better than having *redacted* forced down *redacted* and pulled out *redacted* all before...
Proprietary disks pissing off third parties yet again. Funky controller that worked great with first party games but not so much third party games built with a normal controller in mind probably didn't help.
I have an external for my PS5, but it insists on only putting PS4 games on the external while PS5 games must go on the internal. I'm guessing that's because they want to keep load times fast on PS5 and don't want to be dependent on the external drive's speed.
I mean, look at what they had to do to MK11. I mean, it was perfectly playable and if there were no other versions to compare it to, it's a perfectly fine game. But compared to the other consoles, *shudder*
It really didn't make sense to me. I even asked the guy working there..."so I can spend $60 on the Wii U version and just get the third game, or for the exact same price I could get the entire trilogy for PS3. Why in the world would I buy this one for Wii U?" He could only shrug.
But as far as...
Oh, it was definitely useful, especially for games with item menus and maps like Zelda. And when the Wii U was the main console I used, I didn't even think much of it. But then I got used to more normally sized controllers with the Switch and going back to the Wii U felt cumbersome after that.
Well, PS4 isn't exactly a contemporary anymore. My memory of WiiU is that it came out with power only slightly better than PS3 and X-Box 360 just as Sony and Microsoft were a short ways away from rolling out the PS4 and X-Box One. I could be totally wrong about that. It's just my aging memory's...
Plus they never got the 3DS version up to the final Ultra version with all its characters. You totally have a point. Especially since the Switch should definitely be able to handle it. Even though it's 2 games old in the series, I understand V was a Sony exclusive and 6 may be too much for the...
So honestly, I don't think I've given this game a single thought in months. But with the Phantom Liberty buzz that's suddenly shown up on my YouTube suggestions, I went ahead and popped it back into my PS5. Seems my old build still works.
So is any else interested in this game anymore? It's...
So...little story for y'all.
1. Broke both arms and am now at my parent's to heal.
2. Got Street Fighter 6. If nothing else, it can be a goal for when I heal get back home to my PS5.
3. Father: let's leave early so we can check out your house before going to your occupational therapy.
Me: can...
They were fun for a time. But Guitar Hero kept releasing a new game one right after another. GH 3, GH Metallica, GH World tour, GH Aerosmith...these were all in quick succession. They over saturated their own market.
Also...
