Upon seeing the name "Dinosaur Star Wars," my mind immediately went to having all of the Star Wars films remade with dinosaurs in all the starring roles. I now want this to be a thing that exists and will forever be disappointed that it doesn't.

Agreed. I love Skullgrin in robot mode, but he's essentially an Action Master. I've transformed him a couple of times, but don't feel the need to ever do so again. It would have been more forgivable if he had been a Core class like his pretender brothers.

It's more the opposite problem. He turns from a great spaceship into a mediocre robot. Not a BAD robot mode, mind you, just not fantastic. And my main problem with him remains that what I really wanted was a base mode. A robot mode for the Ark isn't something I hate, but was never something...

Same here. I had sworn off of movieverse toys a while back, but that Battletrap might pull me back in.

That's pretty much exactly how I feel about the Ark. In an ideal world, we would have gotten a toy that goes from that Ark mode to an Autobot Base playset with no robot mode involved. That's really what I wanted.
