I went ahead and re-challenged the gyms last night. It helped that at this point I had mon that were leveled enough that I could go against type and still deliver a beat down. Still had trouble with the 5-star raids. Never could find a Char.

While true, it would be nice if they'd give us greedy little collectors something to hold us over until the next movie: comics, toys...something. Like seriously, it felt like no sooner did the Afterlife Bluray make its way onto store shelves than the toy were taken off.

I own all of them up through Rise. Shadow I have thanks to PS+. I honestly enjoyed the Legend/Anniversary/ Underworld trilogy more than anything else. The classics are nostalgic but outdated with the tank/grid-based movement. The new ones are just so stressful for me. L/A/U was just perfect for me.

I mean, yeah, I heard that it was perfect IV's and such. But I don't play competitively and I've already beaten the game with random wild pokemon with substandard IV's. Soooo... 🤷
