Lots of anime openings have artwork and animation that are exclusive to them, not found in the actual episodes. This is just another one of those cases. Then again, the same is also true of many western animation openings.

Well, mine didn't arrive today, and FedEx has updated from saying "Tuesday" to 'Pending". I guess that's more realistic, since it's still in transit from CA, but meh.
