Yeah, I've been too busy to post but I've been keeping caught up. I think the really hit it out of the park when they brought back simulations of the characters via sound clips. Some of them sounded a bit stilted, but it was nice with what they had to work with. It makes Lower Decks "references"...
I just got word of this and have been able to verify as best I can, But Jason Wiggans, aka Telly, has passed away.
We weren't close friends but he was on staff a long time ago and through all the ups and downs of The Allspark Telly has been a shining presence here and was last active as late...
I did as a matter of fact.
The more I think about this show the more it feels like two, completely independent and compartmentalized teams were asked to make scenes in a story and both versions were just stitched together post editing. The show can go from "Amazing" to "Why....?" several times...
I like the show overall and I'm interested in seeing where it's going. But the hover round gang really jolted me out of the show and it felt like something you'd see satirized in Naked Gun rather than something that actually had any compelling weight in the tone of the series. Not the biggest...
I'd have been pretty satisfied to just watch the entire tale of his flashback life with the Tuskans. Hopefully his 'current' story will flesh him out more and he can return to his bad ass roots instead of acting like a business administrator.
I didn't read any Miles stuff because I'd already mostly abandoned comics by the time Ultimate Universe rolled around. I've only ever seen him in the Spider-Verse movie so I don't really know much about the character.
Yes! That's EXACTLY what Peter Parker was about from the start and why so many people could relate to him compared to the flawlessly heroic comic book characters of the time.

"I'm not going to buy something just because it exists.
I think the scarcity of things for the past few years has given people the mentality of "If I...
I don't think that's a feature on the new software. It's weird that it has so many new features but lack what I consider basic features of a competing product.
I posted this on Twitter but I wanted to talk about it here too - what are your Transformers goals for 2022?
Personally, I plan on being more selective about what I buy and hope to eventually getting around to selling a good portion of what I already have.
That doesn't seem to align with them exercising their rights to do constitutionally protected activities. The whole premise isn't to break the law at all, but not have our rights violated.
Well that video seems to have 1.5 million views already so I doubt your click would amount to much either way. I would say you could click on it just to dislike it but YouTube decided that isn't something people should do.
I don't know why but this episode really resonates with me. Since no other episode as a whole is memorable, I can easily chalk this up to the best episode of Discovery. It really got to the root of what Star Trek was about. I would like to have heard from other federation members on their views...
So as I continue deeper into the rabbit hole watching these videos and getting recommendations like crazy, there's a certain venn diagram crossover that I find interesting.
Specifically, the fact that the far left AND far right seem to both agree that the police are corrupt and should be held...
