Wasp would at least have the benefit of being something that's never been fully realized in toy form before. Although, which color scheme would you prefer? Pre- or post-incarceration? Both look nice.

The point is that a G1-ified, de-Animated version of Animated Bumblebee is just a variation of G1 Bumblebee.

Hasbro doesn't make the G1 Masterpieces. TakaraTomy does.
