Mayhem Transformers Discussion: United We Shelfwarm

There was a time when they didn't die cut their labels; I feel like I remember when they first introduced the pre-cut labels, that customers had the option to pay extra to get them cut on select sets. Once they made pre-cut labels standard, I think they had to consolidate their upgrade options...

    Studio Series discussion

Really, they ought to adopt the Power Suit combiner system from GoBots, or something along those lines. Individual armor for each of the limb Bots that standardizes the combiner limbs without needing to standardize the Bots themselves seems like exactly what the current system needs. Also, more...

There was a Space Police Swat figure a few Collectable Minifig series back; would be cool to get a ship to go with them!

Blasted Effing Blast Effects are Eating My Transformers!

I distinctly remember getting a used RotF Bludgeon in a bundle of misc Transformers, but for the life of me, I can't find it now. Kinda wondering where it is, and hoping it's not damaging anything else...

    Japanese Transformers News

Not as big a fan of Eva as I used to be, but those push an amusing nostalgia button for the old McDonalds toys. That said, I'm not sure how I would feel about Evangelion Happy Meal toys. (I know these aren't, but still...)

Random Thoughts From Out of Nowhere

Just helped my wife wrap and load up gifts to drop off for our Christmas child this year. It's always a little bittersweet, because we (intentionally) ask for a child who would be around the same age as our second son would have been.

    THE KNOCK OFF TRANSFORMERS THREAD

I would be much more interested in a KO of the transforming Hot Wheels Optimus, to be honest, but it would have to be a lot less than 1/2 price.

    THE KNOCK OFF TRANSFORMERS THREAD

The more I think about this, the more I wonder if the endgame plan isn't to KO the Sentinel exclusive, or other colorways not offered by TakaraTomy? Maybe I'm underestimating the demand for ML Prime, but it just seems like there would be a limited audience for a slightly cheaper version. The...

    THE KNOCK OFF TRANSFORMERS THREAD

Do you know if this is a 1:1 KO or oversized? I'm kind of curious who would buy it; if they didn't like the price of the official Missing Link Prime, the Legacy Deluxe is right there in the affordable zone, but still official.

    Takara Missing Link G1 Series

I mean, yeah, it was bound to happen, but it seems like an odd choice; if people want the Missing Link Prime, they probably already bought the official Missing Link figure. If they want a budget version, the Legacy Deluxe fits the bill quite nicely (sans trailer), and is still official. Unless...

In Space No One Can Hear You Scream: An Alien thread

Yeah, not meaning it as a knock on Aliens or Cameron; I really like Them! and similar movies, and I actually approve of films that recognize the film history they descend from.

In Space No One Can Hear You Scream: An Alien thread

I like Aliens, it was a worthy follow-up to the first. The other movies, not so much. Gonna leave this here, though; definitely feels like there was some inspiration from the classic 50s giant critter film, Them!:

The "What made you happy today" thread!

My wife makes those! She calls them Peanut Butter Temptations, she drops a lump of peanut butter cookie dough into mini-muffin pans, and then pushes the mini reeses cups into the top right after taking the cookies out of the oven. They're very tasty! EDIT: this is a similar, but simplified...

Frame Arms Girl Wilber Nine - aka Cy-Kill as an anime girl

I saw that on BBTS, too, and my first thought was "They made a Bishoujou out of CyKill?!?". Glad I'm not the only one who saw the resemblance!
