I don't like the music. Feels like a weird critique and the music isn't bad but it makes the world feel empty. And if that's the intent, I'm not sure it's a good idea for a Sonic game. I'm otherwise intrigued by the world but need info with substance for that.

I can't remember if it was through PMs or it was in the OOC but Destron noticed that I engineered something with princesses that Maple had to interact with and couldn't easily get out of.

The Bad Guys would probably be closer competition as far as content (and goes to the earlier conversation about Dreamworks and Disney) but I think it didn't really make a dent in Sonic 2's earnings. That said, The Bad Guys is actually still in theaters so it's holding on, too.

I had forgotten Paramount owned Nickelodeon. It makes even more sense that they're greenlighting a cinematic universe off a family movie.

I'm gonna laugh if Top Gun debuts to knock everything else down a peg...and Sonic only moves down to 5th place.

While Paramount+ might effect things, Sonic 2 might not dip all that much. The movies mentioned still fit into "not direct competition" and it's Memorial Day weekend so a number of people will be at the movies.

There's scenes I'm curious about now that it'll be out on digital. The main one is that when Robotnik was initially grabbing the Master Emerald, he was flashing with energy. What I'd like to confirm is was it just my eyes or were there flashes of a "Fat Robotnik" silhouette in that scene.

I thought I remembered it being revealed already and her being fascinated. I could be wrong but there's no way to double check.
