I think it works for Long Haul, who is generally characterized as the muscle of the group more or less. I get them wanting to keep to his cartoon proportions for Studio Series, but he's one where I feel him being a big chonky boy works.
Escpially when you have Dump Trucks like this in the world:
My main interest is Megatron and Starscream. With Bee, I'd hope for a Centurion upgrade kit. And As i said Optimus I reallt hope someone makes his trailer to make him look better becuase to me, he suffers the most from being Deluxe Class.
Exactly, it it was a change up, Even if it Op and Megatron as the constants, but the other two rotate out if would be more interesting. The comics don't always focus on the same 4, so the toys shouldn't either.
I'm fine with HoS Megatron getting a toy before Shockwave, because, asaik He's...
This kinda annoys me. I get using the 4 most popular characters to try to experiment with, But that also kinda sounds boring to me tbh; and HoS has SO many designs that it should just be a Subline like Shattered Glass was. Also kinda surprised that Centurion isn't something they planned for like...
Yeah, one of my goals is making an IDW shelf, so that's gonna be "fun" lol.
However I DON'T want them to do him from Siege Astrotrain, because one of the other reasons I'd like having that version is now he'd be a unique design, that only vaguely resembles Astrotrain and now Galaxy Shuttle.
In my experience: Energon Wing Sabre has NEVER been cheap on the aftermarket, and has only gotten worse. My current big annoyance on that front is Universe Lugnut, who for some reason goes from pretty much the same prices as Wing Saber.
Personally I like Jaruga better. I also like Gai- and -Zak better, pretty much for the same reasons that Hasbro might have renamed them, to make them sound less "human". Ellbat annoys me though, I would have prefered Fellbat. Ellbat just feels lazy.
Yeah, Tm2 Cybershark always looked bad too me, like they ran out paint budget and just slapped what few bits of paint they could on him. Its part of why I liked Sky-Byte becuase his colors and paint really bring out all the details that get washed out on the original deco.
