I wish Perceptor had come with Rewind instead of Ratbat (if only to complete the Movie roster of Blaster's cassettes after Eject and Steeljaw); Ratbat could've come with SS86 Soundwave. Unless this distribution was decided on before making an SS86 Soundwave was.
I have a feeling it'll be aggressively toyetic. Which isn't a bad thing per se, it's a showcase; characters encounter each other and/or a threat, show off some toy gimmicks, banter, set up next episode. Makes sense.
Could be fun, or could be Cyber Missions.
Yeah, the different biomes sounds neat. Love a good basic video game level-y world setup. I actually really appreciated the backdrop for Scorponok. After years of volcanoes and nondescript deserts/alien landscapes with portals, it was refreshing to see a bot chilling on the beach.
Iirc in a recent panel/stream the Hasbro TF team mentioned they'd sorted out the Weirdwolf panel thing. Seems like an easy enough thing to do with a small tooling change to only be one solid panel so the hinge can be thicker.
And lol, I think by this time the ship has sailed on "greedy...
Noticed that too. Although the lighting in general seems to change a lot about how the colors come across; I note the same flattening or deepening in Hearts of Steel/Timelines OP.
I sold my SS86 Perceptor in preparation for this, so getting this either way. But I hope the headsculpt is indeed...
Well, SOME video games. And some long-running series. But it may be more complex than that; I know people who are all in on like Elden Ring but also spend inordinate amounts of time in their day on Reels.
And even with regular-length video you can notice editing that makes it choppier with...
Oh, that was another thing I didn't have.
I remember eventually getting a hand-me-down of a hand-me-down of a catalog or two and treating it like sacred texts. Even when I'd grown up and eventually got a copy of the Generations book I'd pore over that. It's a big part of why I lean toward toy...
I'm having to adjust to seeing a lean, lanky Sideways, but it does my heart good to see that design.
Now show me Excellion, damn it. The tiny edge of frame bits tease me. (Are he and Excellion just regular AOTP Deluxes? Not from a capsule or whatever? Praise be.)
That Carnivac/Fisitron 2-pack...
I might never get one due to the likely cumbersomeness and uncertainty about what to do with it, but I just love that this exists. It's like someone forgot Double Punch existed and wanted someone to face off against Omega Spreem. Absolutely displaced Zarak Maximus. Want these colors on a...
Bringing these into the thread from the front page.
Apparently that's Mirage and Galvatron, in what might be the first dragon Galvatron since BW2! (Well, sure, RID2001, but...)
That G2 colored Megs IS a retooled TLK Turbo Changers Hound. Armored something.
I'd be into the beasts (the...
Allsparker Steevy Maximus shares that Collider.com has the exclusive lowdown on the next Transformers toyline, just in time for Toy Fair 2025.
Premiering this summer on YouTube as "an original YouTube series consisting of 36 five-minute shorts", Transformers: Cyberworld will see familiar...
Toy Fair 2025 is under way and brand after brand, toymaker after toymaker has fans eager to see the rest of the year play out! You know, as is tradition.
Hasbro has committed to "Play To Win" in 2025 and beyond, with updates for their existing IPs and licenses and some innovative new directions...
Yyyyuuup this is not for me, and this is one area where I'll be saving money. It's neat how random so much of it is (that G2 Megs has such repurposed AOE Hound vibes, what looks like Mirage as a jet, and a nifty Junkion beast dino thing) but everything looks like it's on an Authentics shoestring...
I did see a local reseller all angry at "Assbro" for doing yet another set with Jazz and Wheeljack in it (under the assumption that this was the SS86 and Earthrise molds) again. This despite him reposting a picture that clearly said "Takara Tomy" and "Dramatic Capture Series". Dude seriously...
