I want them to start getting weird with it and make Decepticons out if Destro's Despoiler and Serpentor's chariot.
Bit surprised we haven't seen like a FANG or Trouble Bubble yet. Maybe the price of the overall package makes army building prohibitive.
That's largely why I kept my suggestions to tooling that was already available (Ryu's helmet, or even a non-MMPR Ranger helmet, regular Ranger arms), just exploring color changes to set it apart (I genuinely think the clear orange with some highlights would do better). Again the Cammy I still...
Oh, I know. And it does show in the difference in designs. It's unfortunate as Hasbro was at least willing to spend some money on some retooling and experiment a bit.
I was excited to see these announced, but something just isn't working for me with the designs. There's just some artfulness that was in the first two that's missing from these, and the pretty bleh helmet on the morphed Ken is particularly underwhelming.
I can't quite put my finger on what I'd...
Hoping to see better-transformed and posed pics soon.
The legs are a pretty notable improvement over the TLK Voyager's (which I'm fairly happy with as my representation of that design) but the shell has to go somewhere, and the way it folds up into the backpack is currently not as clear as I'd...
In a just world they'd have continued making them after bringing back a couple of pairs in Siege.
These seem like a neat novelty, but I agree that the art style is not selling them. Seems to be similar to their face switching Mighty Muggs from a few years back, which I also had zero interest in...
I'm very glad this is Topspin (we just got a Twin Twist), and I like those Targetmasters well enough, but would you be interested in splitting just for the Spinister?
I kind of want to find out more about how Hasbro came up with the name. Like I'm sure it was some variation of "try to be consistent with current branding, so Something Wars" and "to go with Wars, Vehicle sounds too on the nose and has too many syllables, got anything with two syllables?", but...
(shrug) I'd be fine with that. People are going to say and do what they want regardless. Not going to trade in five closer likenesses/homages to avoid something that'll happen anyway.
Besides, it IS the modern combiner frame situation. Let DNA or whoever has time and a 3D printer whip up...
That's a big part of what draws me to it. It's a big weird reboot before those were really that much of a thing in Transformers (specifically "weird", in that BW cut away as cleanly as it could at first, but this has it both ways in the strangest manner).
It's got some of the same divergent...
