Oh no! Thundertron's pirates have taken Gears shuttle and are about to kidnap his beloved prize-winning Ro-mingo.
-ZacWilliam, don't worry girl... Papa won't let them get away with this...
I had Filch on order from Hasbro and Walmart since she was the only one I really cared about. As soon as Pulse said she shipped I canceled the Walmart.
I'm very curious if I ever see these on shelf around here. The Toxitron guys came and went really fast. Like I saw most of them in Walmart...
Mine holds the accessories fine. Ok, the Sai can be easy to knock off the hips but everything else is super secure. I'm actually very impressed how well he holds everything, even the alt head pieces.
He's a little kibble-ish but not horrible really. Overall I like him.
I may have ordered a...
It's not a very Legacy feeling name but I'm going with the late G1 style "Geomasters." (I considered the early G1 style Geobots, but I thought Masters was snappier.)
-ZacWilliam, I've probably mentioned before I'm imaging them as a team of Autobots who crashed through the crust into the...
I like Thundertron. He's a fun concept with a ton of potential. It'd be nice to someday get a story that did something with him.
-ZacWilliam, here's the part where I wish all the capsule lines got the treatment Velocitron did in Japan with a couple page web comic to bring it to life. I would...
I haven't seen anyone photoshop the Missing Link Prime toy into any of the Sentinel Prime color schemes yet (Animated, G1 Toon, TF1) and I really really want to.
-ZacWilliam, years ago I would have done it myself by now but I don't really have easy access to that sort of program right now.
Ok, so I just saw this on Facebook and I need to post about it somewhere because I kinda want it for my Joes and Transformers to fight around.
I don't have the room but I feel like it could make a really fun display...
1) Yes. We know this. He was leaked as being part of the 2025 main line months ago by the pretty much 100% reliable JT Prime.
2-3) I could see him being an extreme partial and using another Insecticon's like upper arms and wings or something, but being in the main line he has better than...
The original gobot/machinerobo toys are such great little units of toys. Small. Solid. Lots of unique but not over complicated alt-modes and transformation schemes.
I really wish we could get reissues of them.
-ZacWilliam, Bandai doesn't seem interested in that sadly.
The new one looks Slightly better in jet mode to me and the change is neutral in robot mode.
-ZacWilliam, not a big enough change that I feel any need to rebuy him.
Things that you can't see in these pics that could conceivably come off and be gone: The Jail doors on his leg and the clear green cockpit on the top of the one tower. And the little guns under the panels on his forearms. And the ramp that folds up on his back.
Oh and the big gun barrels inside...
We know the basic idea has always been:
Hasbro owns the GoBots Names and Fiction. Bandai owns the original looks and toy designs. (And WB through Hanna Barbera probably has some cartoon-specific rights)
That all makes logical sense.
What doesn't is the IDW GoBots comic series licensed by...
Honestly I see this and Missing Link as two very different things.
Missing Link is a 1980s toy constructed with modern toy technology.
This is a modern toy designed based on the look of a 1980s toy.
The former is something amazing and awesome that as a kid of the 80s I absolutely couldn't...
I agree that it's weirdly bright.
-ZacWilliam, I'm kinda content with the TR version. I may get this one just for the Target
masters, compair the two main robots in person and put the TM with whichever I like more.
