Didn't 100% it or anything but I beat Sonic x Shadow Generations. Thoroughly enjoyed it and it's interesting to see the structure.
On the Sonic side of things, the levels and gameplay are the same except for the introduction of the Drop Dash. What's interesting is that cutscenes and some...
Ooohhh, I remember now (looking at document)...
...players still treated the gold amounts as points they got automatically to pick what they wanted as opposed to actual gold they they earned through adventuring and had to go to shops.
If you're talking about the document I think you are, a lot of players tended to take the things from it as a natural part of leveling instead of as a GM granted bonus. Regardless, there still wasn't a currency system or guidance on leveling speed.
It depends. Dark side is often framed as wanting to corrupt and wanting as much power as possible. Often that being raw numbers. Light is often framed as wanting the best. There's also the trust issue of not knowing if the formerly dark person can be trusted.
Patch's case is different since...
As the protector goddess of Viknadia, the range of Cher's powers are mostly centered on the kingdom itself. This can extend if a Viknadian is outside the kingdom. This is most obvious with her champion, Dee, but also applies to Night Cap...and Dra’Beht and Ral’Ochs. With Patch and Beathra...
'Expectations' is really key. Even I made early assumptions that turned out to be false--like expecting Cabooceratops and Sailor Unicron to reprise their characters from a previous campaign. Also, a lot of people PMed questions that might have been best if done with a group. I've seen various...
Power's back and watching the news. Several highways in the western Carolinas have parts that are underwater. A lot of towns are inaccessible and don't have phone service. At least one highway in Tennessee was washed out. Stay safe out there.
Things were fine Thursday night and I was bracing for Helene. Things were fine Friday morning. Friday afternoon after Helene had passed I lost power and still don't have power. And weirdly, it's just my street as opposed to the whole neighborhood. Otherwise, I'm fine.
The two campaigns have given me plenty of time to think about team composition and communication (and I'm still not sure I have answers). I've honestly been contemplating bumping the RPG thread in Fun and Games but I doubt conversation will stem from it. More things need to be worked out...
Who would you be trying to hammer the point to, though? Cinniúint was chaotic neutral and YPNR had her captured. I mean, the higher ups didn't think twice about shooting a giant laser at the arctic so I don't see them listening to the argument that they couldn't handle a malevolent goddess.
Holding up fine here but I think the worst is supposed to be this evening. Rain...but not as much as I was expecting. The humidity made work fairly unpleasant, though.
I guess one of the biggest unspoken mysteries of the final arc was "what was Moscareina up to?" Outside of the obvious temptation, there were several moments where Moscareina would force Patch to do something like scratch a wall but make no comment on it. Moscareina was trying to infect YPNR...
