Morgan Spurlock, a documentary filmmaker whose McDonald's takedown "Super Size Me" captured the zeitgeist and an Oscar nomination, has died of cancer.

Man, that sucks. He was too young to go at 53, but I heard that he was an alcoholic. People are using that now to skew his Super size me documentary results, which I find to be ridiculous.
