I've been wondering if that's only for the US Netflix release and it's uncensored over in Japan.

I can kinda see why we get barbie bods when uh... the characters are sorta... teens and I can't imagine you can get away with that anymore...

Its so weird cuz Netflix also has T▪︎P Bon (Time Patrol Bon) which by all metrics feels like a childrens show but almost every episode has a surprising amount of blood and a handful has some random casual boobies out and about. I see that and wonder why a show like this can exist on Netflix but Ranma needs censorship.

And Im not even that hung up on the nipples, its the disappeared butt cracks that weird me out the most.

I didn't notice the butt cracks disappearing but I definitely noticed the missing female nipples in ep1!

Just watched the second ep of Dragon Ball Daima, its ok, but there is some mistakes being made, caused by this wish that the dragon granted last ep as it screw up history a bit, mainly surounding Roshi & the two Kais and Mister Popo, but this ep did have two funny moments and adds a little detail to the whole wish granting process for Earth's dragon, while the other is what Roshi uses Goku's old power pole (English dub called it) for!

Dear god that's horrifying!
(I love it! .....just as long as she stays away from me).
It's not been easy to match -- let alone top -- 2022's big October portfolio, but I've found a few artworks waiting for their time to shine this season..

And a certain game's cast will likely have some cosplays as well, as they have for a few Halloween parties. 😉

Something a little more lighthearted.... If you'll pardon the expression.

(Although given Makima's line of work, when is there not blood on the floor?)

There was some recent controversy to hit the anime cosplay community -- I just found out about it yesterday evening.

The details are too bizarre for me to recount from the sidelines, and I'm still processing just what happened and various reactions. I am instead going to share this unrelated video (and hope it's not among the fallout, I've already seen one of the shorts I shared here disappear). It can serve as a reminder of happier times -- both in and out of universe.

... I wanna know the controversy! Spill! Or give a search string.
Well, I really do think this falls under the Kiss Players Rule of "Some things you can't un-learn":
But so that no-one can say that I was vaguebooking on the matter, I'll link to Julia's statement, which should provide enough details for people to search further if they so choose....

The Netflix adaptation opening that never was:

Huh. It does kind of look like a cross between Heartcatch Precure and Panty and Stocking. I don't hate it, but it's definitely different.

I've been watching Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy, I originally gave up on the series during its first season, but then I tried again watching, its a OK series thou I feel like our MC should really be extremely angry at the way the Goddess treated him, dumpping him in the wastelands and just giving him the power to speak all languages aside from human

Oh. Oh we get there. Trust me. WE GET THERE.

I finally reached the end of the Rukia getting executed arc in Bleach (I knew the dead guy wasn't dead cuz I saw him in Death Battle) so, omg, FINALLY over. But, urgh, jarring switch. I've been watching Bleach on Netflix on dub but after 63 eps, they don't have dubbed eps anymore? It's all subbed?!? Geez

Its likely because most fans would prefer to watch it in the original language with subs and they don't have the license for the dub verison! With Bleach, when the "Dead guy" is defeated, that pretty much where I jumped off the series as I felt that there was no much need to carry on, so I haven't watched any of the thousand year blood war, stuff!

I actually need to go back and pick through the filler arcs and watch the main storyline through. I kept falling in and out of Bleach so I know the basics of what happened now in the Thousand Year Blood War, but I got a couple characters in the latest episode that I don’t remember at all.

On one hand, I gotta admire that they're committed to sticking to the bit of keeping Shotaro looking the same age in this, but on the other, I would've liked to have seen them muck with that a little since we've got other artistic license things going on, like the green hair.

...I need to go back and finish season one, too.

This is why you don't outsource captioning to AI, folks.

(it's supposed to say "GUNDAMS").
