So I finally saw Crisis part three this weekend now that it's free on Max, and I kind of enjoyed it.

So the basic premise is that the anti-monitor was trying to destroy the multiverses because it should have never existed and having so many worlds was destroying reality. And after a heart wrenching loss of Supergirl unleashing the power of 52 suns on the one anti-monitor, thousands more of them appear like antibodies fighting a disease. The heroes grab the miracle machine from the pocket dimension that the future league stored it in, and sacrificed Wonder Woman with her immortality to it in order to create a new single universe with components of each universe comprising them.

I really enjoyed seeing some closure on the past cartoon series. The super friends was a great throwback, as was seeing the 2003 Teen Titans tower. However, it was the DCAU world that stole the show for me. Seeing Kevin Conroy voice Batman for the last time, fighting Joker on the rooftop, was great! Conroy's speech doesn't make too much sense for Batman, but it makes perfect sense for Conroy. He wanted to go out being Batman, and he delivered an excellent line for it. At first I didn't think it was Mark Hammil playing Joker because it didn't sound right, but it was him! We got Hamil and Conroy together for one last time! :) Then we see the Watch tower and see our JLU team members, GL and Hawkgirl getting in one final kiss before the anitmater wave hits. Perfect send off for the DCAU.

The physical media went out with a placeholder voice for Joker instead of Hamill's performance. I sent away for a replacement with the right voice, but it hasn't arrived yet. I don't subscribe to Max, so I dunno if they fixed that one or not.

Oh yeah, when I watched it, it was not Hamill fighting Batman but I remember it was Hamill on the Lex Luther team.

Yeah, that would explain why it doesn't sound like him.
