Design your own Capsule / Subline

I love the idea of using "Unreleased G2 repaint ideas" as a theme for a whole subline. It got me thinking of other possible ideas for themed groups of figures to release, and wanted to see what other people thought of as well.

The "rules," I guess, would be that it would have to be a group of figures from recent lines (or otherwise known available molds, like the G1 reissue stuff they're doing now) repainted and/or slightly remolded, similar to what we normally get in these sort of lines. Otherwise, the sky is the limit!

Here's one from me:

Renegade Rampage: Move over, Decepticons, there are some new villains to contend with as the evil Go-Bot Renegades find themselves thrust into the Transformers Universe!

I liked how in the G.I. Joe Python Patrol and Tiger Force line Joe vehicles and Cobra vehicles were mixed together. I would like to see a line where Autobot shapes and Decepticon shapes are mixed together. Like an Autobot Starscream or a Decepticon Ironhide.

First one I got, something Velocitron styled:
The Cybertanium Fist Tournament!
The top Transformers fighters have gathered in a fighting tournament to determine the galaxy’s greatest combatant! With glory and Energon as the prize, all bets are off! Part of the gimmick would be “versus style” packaging, with each combatant facing each other on retailer shelves, detailing each’s fighting style.

Wave 1 Deluxe:
Tarantulas (Ninja)- Toy robot head and colors
Downshift (Bot Fu)- Earthrise Wheeljack redeco sporting Cybertron Downshift colors
Tap Out (Referee)- Cliffjumper redeco

Oil Slick (Circuit-Su)- Retool Legacy Crashbar

Wave 1 Voyager: (Story being Backstop looking for revenge against Banzaitron for dishonoring their master, Yokotron)
Banzaitron (Master of Crystalocution)- Rumor is a retool of Tarn to Bludgeon is happening, so repaint that.
Backstop (Master of Crystalocution)- Kingdom Rhinox, though I’d prefer the RotB Core Rhinox, myself, I’m not sure how the rights would work there.

Sixknight (Master of Conversions)- Repaint TR Quickswitch. Includes Energon “reward” cubes.

Wave 2 Leader:
Primal Prime (Matrix Knight)- Repaint PotP Optimal Optimus.

The theme is to focus on disguises in a city setting. Give us some vehicle types that would be cool but that we havnt gotten before:

Crankcase remold as a Pizza Delivery vehicle.

Knockout as a Taxi
Legacy Bulkhead with a new head and Back-of-vehicle/shield as a School Bus.

Oh man, Flatline is a character that needs a toy badly. A Decepticon hearse is just too good an idea not to be turned into reality.

And any reference to Power Core Combiners is appreciated.

I wasn't huge on PCC, but I picked up a few and still love Smolder to this day. I've had hours and hours of fun with that toy. A Decepticon hearse would be so cool! And I have to say too that an updated Electromagnetic Soundwave would be really nice.

I haven't gotten any further with this, but "Reinforcements from Cybertron" would be fun, with Overdrive, Downshift, and Camshaft.

I'll let someone else with encyclopedic knowledge of what molds are out there have fun with deciding which molds to use and who(m?) to include as their Decepticon counterparts.

This sounds like a great place for the rest of the Deluxe Insecticons to get released!
