The DHS quietly updated its policy manual earlier this month, removing LGBTQ+ identities from the section prohibiting surveillance based solely on immutable characteristics.

The military is also going through with Trump's plan to remove trans service members from active duty unless said service members get a special exception. Hopefully there's a few members of the brass willing to bend the rules a bit. Not a service member myself. Too much of a pacifist, and basket case(even I did sign up, I would have likely washed out due to a panic attack). Granted I've aged out of the recruitment window now anyway, unless they REALLY start hurting for new soldiers. Common story for mtf people is for them to join the military in some vain attempt to purge what they are and 'become a man' only to find out once they are in that they can't be made into something they are not, but still have a sense of duty so they continue on with their military career.

It goes beyond even fencing. On my Facebook feed there was an article about the women's pool tourney where transwomen won.
I asked. I straight up asked what the problem was, where the 'unfair advantage' was in frikken pool. No one had any real answer, they'd only cite "the principle".
This came from a gay friend's page too. Like, I wonder about that. You've personally experienced discrimination. You still experience issues with bigots. Why are you posting this blatant propaganda? Why are you, of all people, pushing this?
