Hello everyone. I will post pictures of the last Transforners Official Convention we held in my country. We received a lot of help from Hasbro, the Collectors Club and the media. We received 10000 persons on that Weekend. It was held on the Child's Museum (Museo de los Niños) It was a former jail, in the 80's. At the 90's the first lady decided to make the place a totally different thing from a jail, a place for children to learn and play.

This first pictures were from when we were shooting a TV Spot, some of the decoration, the former First Lady, Gloria Bejarano, who created the museum (until today she is still in charge of the place), and is a childlike and lovely lady, and a reporter who came to make us an interview for tv National News, and the last one is me.

The next pictures are on the Expo Prime itself. This were from Friday night when were putting the TF on their sets and the decoration in place. Durind the day was so crowded I wasn't able to take any picture. The G1's are mine, the only time ever I took all my G1's outside of my home

More pictures. The black shirt I am wearing it's from Costa Rica's official Transformers fan club. The friend who designed uses Laserbeak with the colors and similarity to the logo of Costa Rica's national beer, Imperial. And yes, my Blaster and my Soundwave have real tapes inside. There are no guns on the figures and on the statues because it is not allowed display guns inside the musem.

Finally, the kid is my older son. He was seven then, now he is 15 years old. He was there with his Rescue bots and Botshots (now I am their owner :) ) This was for TF 30'th anniversary, but we also display some GIJOE there. Hope you enjoy how do we live the hobby on Costa Rica.

Those dioramas are giving me all the right feels.

What year was this event held?

I've always been impressed with the crazy setups the Costa Rica community build. Looks amazing.
I am totally uselles to do things like that. But some guys blow your mind, for instance, the Autobot City diorama was made from Ice Cream and orange juices boxes and plastic toppers

I love stuff like that. I had a piece of styrofoam from something when I was growing up - I have no idea what it came from, but it had all the cool cut-outs for holding something in place in its original packaging. It was the "security station" for the TFs and Gobots on my shelf for years.

I used for years the Trypticon styrofoam as the insides of Decepticon city, and some huge spounges (I think they came with a kitchen or a fridge) as the front doors of Autobots or GIJOE headquarters. I have 2 kids now and I see first hand that now they lack that kind of imagination.

Yeah . . . my daughters had crazy cool imaginations - they liked to set up an Imaginext train that went down the hall between their bedrooms, and they had their "villages" with lots of different toys in each room. But when I handed them one of those styrofoam blocks, they didn't know what to do with it.
