Have you ever had a word where, like, you know it's a word. In your head you know its definition as laid down by webster.

But it's not really a word you've internalized the meaning of. It's not a word you feel the meaning of.

Not sure if any of that makes any sense, but because of this game I know what nihilism means.

The FFXI crossover event is back for another run, in case you're interested in a samurai-style set of glamour armor.

I did it on one of my newer characters last night and was reminded of how annoying it is to have a mission that requires waiting for FATEs to pop.

I twice joined fates just as they were being finished and still got counted as finishing it myself. Only had to wait once for one to pop.

I guess it goes both ways.

I had one where I joined at the end, killed a few crabs, and did not get credit (but got a little company scrip)...so I had to hang out for a while until it popped again.

Well, I guess the important thing is that we both got new costumes for our glamour closet.

Speaking of endgame, hit the end credits for post-Endwalker last night. I still have NO idea what accent the new lady Hrothgar's VA was shooting for.

At least I finally placed Erenville's by looking up the voice actor. He's Scandinavian, and seems to just be speaking with his normal accent in the role. The new character's VA lives in Los Angeles and I suspect it's a created accent rather than her normal voice. Vaguely Caribbean? Jamaican was my first instinct, but not quite.

Credits are rolling on Endwalker. So I guess now I'm ready for post-Endwalker. That was...emotionally draining.

Oh how I waited to see this part! It's so different when it's your WoL...and when it's full screen HD instead of a Youtube window on an iPad.
