Looks like they kept the removable shoulder cannon. That pleases me.

It doesn't look like the chest opens though. If we could only keep one weapon gimmick I'm glad they picked the one they did, but it's sad that they have to cut anything.

Maybe it's just the lack of something to compare for scale, but he looks kinda tiny. Thought it was a Deluxe at first. Though I suppose that may just be the way things are moving in general as they always do as costs rise...

Maybe there's a huge robot mode crumpled up in there. The original toy has a humongous torso, which the animation slimmed down a lot. This toy can't magically shrink the torso, so if it's aiming for animation accuracy they'll have to scale the rest of the robot up.
