I've never seen them have any codes, and I've ordered from them for almost every 3K release.

The "female robot = humanoid in bikini" look continues to be the signature aesthetic, but the articulation on this looks great as always.

I have found that I really enjoy putting together these Flame Toys model kits. I don't have 'em all, I've just cherry picked here and there. Definitely interested in Starscream, Shockwave, Jazz, and Arcee.

I got the IDW Rodimus one but have yet to find the time to put it together. Got it to replace the Hot Flame 3P figure, which I found so scary to transform (probably my fault) he was going to be stuck in robot mode forever anyway. And aside from the lack of a smirking face, the Furai Model kit had a great look.

Never put a kit together in my life, and am kind of curious about repainting some of the pieces (the yellow, mainly, with a richer warmer shade). Any advice on doing either? (Assembly, painting)

They're fairly straightforward to put together, IMO. I have not felt the need to paint anything on mine yet. The only tools that I use are a good pair of nippers, some model-grade sandpaper, and a needle metal filing kit. The latter is not absolutely vital, but it does make cleaning uneven edges a whole lot easier. Just take your time and enjoy!

You had my curiosity with stylized anime proportion TF model kits, but merchandise of Gilthor means you now have my attention.

Starscream and Jazz here are not model kits but high end collectible figures. There is a different looking Starscream model though.

yeah I'm going to get Arcee and Jazz... Shockwave is on the fence and I'll wait for samples of Gilthor - his design is already out there. crotchthrustification might just put it over the line into the 'too ridiculous for Destron' pile.

Update: the "Jet Power Armor" from the Kuro Kara Kuri up for preorder. This is an armor set for gearing up their previous (#04) Kuro Kara Kuri Optimus Prime.

They're reissuing the #04 kit as well.

The Autobot emblem with the AUTOBOT text replicating the classic Martini Racing logo is a great design touch I'd love to see mainline toys copy.
