I really need someone to peer into my mind and make an actual version of the weird conflation my brain makes of their song and the DK Rap.

It's like, the lyrics fit the cadence, more or less, and those stick with me more than the originals, past the first bit...

Seriously, I want someone to make that.

Not AI, though. Someone with talent.

So... i can't recall his name, dude with glowy green skull mask, dreads and bow and arrows, is he part of the Dreadnoks? Initially I didnt think so, but he seems to at least fit in with the newer guys we've been getting who are.

Im trying to segregate my Cobra display up a bit and trying to keep guys who look like they go together, together.

Shadow Tracker. Nominally, no, he's just a special jungle operative.

As is, I think the only reason Crystal Ball got lumped in was the perception of his dislike among the fandom. If I wasn't so tight on purchases, I would have gotten him. The Classified reinvention is FANTASTIC, but I don't view him as a Dreadnok.

It's new Joe day! Contrary to some earlier reports I read, Snake Eyes is NOT an Amazon exclusive! Also available in this "batch" is Monkeywrench, Battle Armor Cobra Commander and Major Bludd. Release expected in October.

Note that Major Bludd appears to be a straight redeco of the nearly FIVE year old Cobra Island release. It's different than the original (which was caught up in early backlash against the line's more colorful initial direction), and I think the red highlights REALLY pop on those details. Not sure it's worth double dipping, so we'll see how much #26 is going for, might be worth it to sell the old one, get the new one, and use the extra to offset other purchases

I was always excited for Battle Armor Cobra Commander, but the inclusion of the DiC accessories just push him over the top for me. This is a GREAT example of how some creative accessories and lore digging can make an otherwise pedestrian update into something a bit more special.

Monkeywrench exhibits the same fresh ideas that have permeated the other Dreadnoks (and they include an actual monkeywrench!). Nice update with some fresh ideas.

Snake Eyes is probably the most "boring" of the batch, but I think he's a great showpiece of what this design team can do with later figures which featured more questionable design choices. Again, he's from "my era", so I snapped an order on him. Probably will on the 89 version as well. Which is strange as SE was never a "key character" when I was a kid.
