G1 Transformers Size, Power, and Mass

The G1 cartoon had plenty of places they could go. They should have taken their cue from the G1 Marvel comics:

That’s how you get kids excited about a new toy.

Powermaster Optimus Prime seems surprising similar to:

They're both based on the same toy. The early-2000s reissue of Powermaster Prime even came with the "Apex Armor", which was the extra Godbomber trailer that Ginrai had.

It was really up to the G1 Marvel Comics to sell the 1988 Transformers toyline:

That’s what pushed it to be the best!

yeah, because sky lynx is better than omega supreme.

Sky Lynx is supposed to be a Giant Space Shuttle but he’s the same size as Astrotrain:

whereas Omega Supreme is:

Look at the difference in their sizes.

Both Sky Lynx and Astrotrain can change their sizes.

Some of then Japanese G1 can be dubbed to create more American G1:

Everyone would assume this is G1 Optimus Prime.

God Ginrai is essentially the same as Powermaster Optimus Prime in the G1 Marvel Comics. Plus, they’re both the same toy.
Yes, but Ginrai is a human. Optimus Prime is not. The transforming truck that Ginrai combines with is not alive. Ginrai is the sole mind and soul in control of the truck robot.

They actually have not been the same toy even once. They're close enough that one toy should easily suffice for both of them, but somehow it has never happened. Their toys are always at least slightly different.

In the end of the G1 Marvel Comics, Optimus Prime was human. And if I recall correctly, the transforming truck robot was not alive and was rebuilt by Primus. And even when the Powermaster body was built the first time and Optimus’ consciousness was transferred into it initially from the computer disk, it was not viable. Optimus was dying, so that’s why the nebulan human had to be added, melded so that Optimus Prime could live. So Optimus and the nebulan became one and the same. Optimus had essentially become human and his transforming truck robot became just a Pretender shell, not alive.

None of that applies to Ginrai, though. His situation was completely different.
