I would like to have seen how Devastator was defeated here and how Megatron came out on top:

I think Astrotrain is the second strongest after Megatron.

G1 Dinobots did do pretty well against Unicron:

And they defeated Trypticon in the G1 Marvel comics:

Why are they so powerless against G1 Devastator.

Omega Supreme is an ancient Cybertronian who single-handedly battled and defeated Unicron way back in the distant past of Cybertron. Subsequent to this, he spent millions of years in stasis below the surface of the planet.

This makes him sort of like Superman, always discovering new powers and abilities. Here we see that Omega Supreme can mass-shift to planet-size and defeat Unicron.

Is there a reason why gee-wunners don’t like G1 Broadside?

G1 needs an aircraft carrier and another space transport vehicle.

This was meant to be a spaceship:

not a jet like fans were complaining about. An aircraft carrier transforming into a spaceship makes more sense.

Spider-man is one of Marvel’s weakest superheroes yet he was able to go toe-to-toe with G1 Megatron:

Spider-man’s agility and technology (ie. his web) appear to be more than a match for G1 Megatron’s raw power, size and mass.

I’ve heard gee-wunners saying G1 Blastoff is not a military vehicle:

The military was an early user of the Space Shuttle. By 1990 eight classified satellites were deployed from the Shuttle for electronic intelligence, photographic and radar reconnaissance, and defense communications.

It was originally designed as a military system for weapon delivery, maybe even nuclear weapons. The American shuttle also has military uses

The military also uses the interstate highway system.

On September 24, 1966, NASA and the Air Force released a joint study concluding that a new vehicle was required to satisfy their respective future demands and that a partially reusable system would be the most cost-effective solution. The head of the NASA Office of Manned Space Flight, George Mueller, announced the plan for a reusable shuttle on August 10, 1968. NASA issued a request for proposal (RFP) for designs of the Integrated Launch and Re-entry Vehicle (ILRV), which would later become the Space Shuttle

Good point.

To me a picture is worth a thousand words, a video even more so because it includes action.

YouTube, Universal, Hasbro, or someone has taken down a lot if not most of the short clips that I liked:

I’ll do my best to find clips short like this one.🙂
Who does people recognised as Galvatron G1 Arch foe? (Other than himself)

The G1 Marvel Comics got the power levels right:

G1 Megatron, Shockwave, and Galvatron are three most powerful Decepticons. They are also the coolest.

Wow... I don't know if I ever realized what a downgrade G1 Galvatron is from G1 Megatron.

He loses half a point of strength -- if anything, I thought he was supposed to be stronger.

He loses an entire point and a half of intelligence! Though the bio doesn't mention it, I suppose one could chalk this up to his insanity?

Speed went way the hell up, five points! So that's something.

Up two points to maximum endurance, that's pretty good. I suppose that might help balance out the docked strength.

He actually went down a rank! One entire point! I guess positioning him as a "City Commander," it makes some sense that he'd be equal to Shockwave there. Or maybe this is counting when he is first made, and he got a new boss for a bit there. In other words, Unicron was the new 10, so everyone else would go down a point as a result. XD

Courage is the same. Go figure.

I'm surprised he loses a point in firepower! Guess if he's not pulling from black holes anymore, it makes sense.

And he went up a point in skill! Maybe that's because he doesn't need someone else to aim him in altmode any more? XD

Keep in mind that Galvatron wasn't meant to be an upgraded Megatron in this version, he was supposed to be a "City Commander" and be equivalent to Ultra Magnus for the Autobots. It wasn't until the Movie that they decided to use him as an upgraded Megatron.
