I did watch several episodes of one of the Japanese Beast Wars cartoon. I was intrigued by the two Predacon brothers. One of them looked like Galvatron, and the other one looked very much like Megatron. It was interesting how the Galvatron-looking one bullied around the Megatron look-alike.
I got tired of reading subtitles though; it felt too foreign after a while. So I gave up.

I enjoy a good dub job (and in some instances, even a hilariously bad dub), but if you're going to appreciate films and programs from any country except your own, you owe it to yourself to learn how to watch subtitles. Alternately, learn some other languages, but I feel like watching shows with subtitles helps that process. If you limit yourself to just domestic product, you ARE missing out.

I can do without Beast Wars. We already have the G1 Insecticons, Dinobots, Predacons, Terrorcons, Skylynx, Trypticon. That’s plenty to build on and much cooler.
Most of the Beast War characters, and probably the toys, are ugly. They are not aesthetically pleasing to look at (eg. Rattrap, Rhinox, Megatron, Dinobot, Black Arachnia, Scorpion, Ant, Tarantula,…). And you have just a generic gorilla, cheetah, wolf, hawk, etc.
I also didn’t agree with making the Transformers organic. I prefer them to be G1 sentient “metallic” robots with naturally-occurring gears, levers, and pulleys (ie. the G1 Insecticons, Dinobots, Predacons, Terrorcons, Skylynx, Trypticon robot templates and design concepts).

Galvatron got his point across to the Decepticons when he killed Starscream for dumping Megatron and the others out the side of Astrotrain, it was a case of "Do NOT" cross Galvatron and get his wrath, you'll regret it, while Zarak is another case, he never saw Starscream die and being a organic being with a robot body, he would of likely plotted against Galvatron is season 4 had contuined beyond the rebirth eps and become the new Starscream, thou I expect Starscream would of showed up again at some point to attempt to reclaim his former procession as second in command and plot to overthrow Galvatron and proudly shout "Galvatron has fallen, I am the new leader of the Decepticons!!!"
Then SS would likely of taken over one of those guys and caused Galvatron to slaughter each of his troops until he is the only one remaining and SS could haunt Galvatron and drive him even more insane!!
But then they'd have to bring him back to life again to become a Pretender! What a hassle.
Yeah, no more Transformers stories, ever. It's been done.

Those old toys need a new update with stronger structural integrity. Ditch the translucent plastic and chrome paint and replace them with glossy opaque plastic and shiny metallic paint instead.

G1 Sixshot seemed to be billed as the most powerful Decepticon in Rebirth when he easily took out all the Aerialbots:
and he was portrayed as a weapon of mass destruction in the IDW comics. I believe he was called in by Megatron or Shockwave as a last resort because of the collateral damage and overkill he would bring.
Yet in the Headmasters cartoon he did not dare challenge G1 Galvatron.
And in the IDW comics G1 Galvatron also seemed invincible, indestructible, and equally destructive.
Does anyone know how G1 Sixshot and G1 Galvatron compare in strength and power?
