And also so I don't have to just keep saying "Well, there's no thread for it, but someone could maybe make one, I guess."

This is more for stuff like crossovers and collaborations than dedicated TF titles, but I won't stop you if you decide to start talking about that stuff here, too.

Anyway, here's a few goings-on:

Tactical Arena is out for Android and, quite out of character, it's also available in Japan (Most TF apps are blocked in Japan and Takara didn't usually release a Japan version).

However, it's about 1.21gb to download from Google Play, so it's not really a "download and play" game while you're on a train. it's best to download it at indoors and play it later?

Mini review.

Pros:
- Landscape mode supported.
- Hardware mouse supported (so you can connect it up to a telly and play on the big screen, etc).
- Not geoblocked in Japan.

Cons:
- Android "back" Hardware/softkeys not supported, as app seems to be designed via iOS GUI guidelines (so we have to press the top left-hand corner of the screen to exit any screens).

(Edit: - This might be due to this game being a lazy port of an iOS game from 3 years ago).

- Both Autobots and Decepticons fight on the same team and the enemy often has exactly the same characters as us, so it's often difficult to understand who's fighting who. This could have been avoided by always making the other teams "shattered glass" versions of other repainted versions (such as Nemesis Prime, etc), like an "away kit" for football teams, etc.
- Have to press "home" button to exit app (as there's no "back button" support).

- Exiting app this way (and/or clearing "recent apps") means app won't start again until we force-stop the app and/or clear the cache EVERY SINGLE TIME.

- Game has multiple, multiple currencies and messy menus (presumably designed to confuse users into buying lootboxes, etc).

- Related to above, it seems very "FTP2W".

I could only really stomach this for about an hour, on and off, throughout the day (in small breaks), but the constant need to force-close and clear the cache to restart the app was the straw that broke the camel's back for me.

It seems the iOS version, released 3 years ago, was equally as bad.

Been seeing a lot of ads for that. Frankly, that doesn't do nearly as much for me as Skeletor tempted me to play that one game.
Overall, it's just skins in shovelware. Pass.

Now, when Transformers decks come to Balatro . . . .
